Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. For anyone who has done an MSC B2B, do you get an invoice after each cruise or just one at the end in total? I'm talking about on the Meraviglia if it makes a difference. thanks
  2. With the $50 credit excursion prices went up too, hard to find at that price
  3. I have been doing this also. You don't have to go on excursion but I have been present to give the vendor the ticket, the ticket has your name printed on it (the vendor doesn't care if you go, he still gets reimbursed for the ticket), just to be sure. PS-I believe this only works when booking excursion onboard. If you book online it becomes more messy. They have to cancel and reissue ticket. Also figure out your latitudes discount in the equation, and even if excursion costs more than $50 it still takes the $50 out of the N/R obc and returns it as refundable
  4. No. Day 1 could be interpreted to be the day you get on ship. It could also be the first full day of sail, as when you read a ship itinerary it lists the day after embarkation as day 1. I'll ask questions on board and figure it out.
  5. You didn't answer the questions. Is it a chargeback or OBC.? What do they consider 1st day of cruise? Thanks
  6. MSC says that you get back $10 for every $50 you spend. 1) is that a chargeback or Non ref credit? 2) Only applicable to day 1. What do they consider day 1, embarkation day or first full day at sea? 3) Do you have to keep a close eye on this or its automatic?
  7. Hi, does anyone know if I can leave luggage anywhere for an hour or two at BCT upon disembarkation? What would happen if I just left it there for awhile? Have to do some things while in Brooklyn and would rather not drag luggage around . Thanks
  8. Thanks for all the info. As I said my senior discount was approved within an hour and I did a mock ticket purchase, $1.35
  9. I did it online yesterday first thing in the AM. Within 1 hour they had my account adjusted for senior. Could not believe the speed it was done. I think that you can show up at pier 11 and get approved also.
  10. If you're local let me ask you this. I'll be arriving at Port Authority terminal, pretty sure I can walk down into the bowels of the terminal and take long confusing walk and up/down stairs. Would it be better for me to just exit terminal and walk 42 st to 3 train entrance?
  11. So the NYC ferry and IKEA ferry use 2 different terminals? The hornblower is the ferry I need, sounds ideal. Ferry price w/senior discount, 1.35 thanks 😁 number 3 to wall st and walk over
  12. Hi, some questions re:ferry. I know Ikea has a free weekend ferry to red hook. Does this ferry drop off close to ported ship at BCT? What/where are the stops in Manhattan? NYC ferries run during the week and stop at red hook. Do they use same terminal as Ikea, if not, is that stop within walking distance? Where can you catch NYC ferry to Red hook from Manhattan, I know pier 11 at seaport , any other stops, west side maybe? Does anyone forsee any problems or it is a workable solution? Thanks
  13. Just wondering if there are any tips between using one or another of these dinners. Have two latitudes and one specialty, don't wanna make mistake using the wrong dinner in wrong restaurant. Thanks
