We just booked a 2-BR suite for an April 2024 sailing. I cannot find the specific benefits of a suite either - is a butler the only benefit? Can regular/specialty restaurant meals be delivered to the cabin? Thanks!

Apparently we didn’t understand it because we were NEVER informed by Princess of any change nor was our TA. We have all searched our emails and no one received the notification.

according to our travel agent, we paid the same price for the upgrade as they are charging now and no, it doesn’t sound or seem right

Guess what - if you purchased the Premier package upgrade last year, you are screwed out of several of the current benefits. We purchased the upgrade in Nov 2022 but made our final payment in April 2023. I went to get one of the Premier desserts today (ice cream sundae) and I was told I had the “old” Premier package and the sundaes were not included. I went to the purser’s desk to find out why. Unbeknownst to us, Princess apparently added a few more things to the package, but the cost is the same as what we paid. They will not do anything about it. Does that make any sense at all? We don’t think so and, while it doesn’t ruin the trip, I was looking forward to the sundaes as well as some of the exercise classes. Princess has lost 2 customers based on a matter of principle.

I’m sort of confused on the luggage policy for the Alaska land portion of our cruise (which takes place prior to the cruise). The way I interpret the policy is that you have a “Join Me Tonight” small suitcase with the clothing, toiletries, etc that you need for the land portion and that will be delivered to the lodges. Then you can have a “Join Me Onboard” larger suitcase that will be stored until it is delivered to your ship stateroom. Additionally you are allowed a backpack that you keep with you at all times. For those of you who have done the land portion, is this a correct interpretation? TIA

After reading about some of the issues with staffing, service, crowded dining rooms, sewage smells, crowded shows and inability to get tickets (whatever that means), I’m having some regrets booking Princess (we did so to go to Alaska with friends).. We have been sailing on Azamara with none of these issues. I know we will have a good time, but I sure hope they get their act together before July
