  1. Thank you both for the correct rate its ridiculous, The person verified it and verified it was the elite price. I am solo so 12.50 is half of $25. The rep was probably quoting me for 2 people
  2. I booked a 10 day cruise for September 2024 a few days ago. Started trying yesterday to add wifi for myself, even before i had read this post Site kept crashing telling me my session had expired. I just called Customer Service and was quoted $337.40 Canadian $ for the 10 days and was told this is my Elite price 33.74 CDN is $25 USD. For 1 person The person verified that this is the correct Elite rate…. Considering my options now. No airfare booked so easy to change
  3. Honestly, the inside room is smaller but everything else is the same, linens and toiletries. It is so much quieter, negligible ship motion. Even though there was a lot of noise in the balcony area there didn’t seem to be much motion either. Surprising…..
  4. The same card opens both rooms. Same floor, other side of ship. Both stewards leave me chocolates❤️
  5. Update on 11124 Celebrity gave me an inside “sleeping “ room for the rest of the cruise. The difference is amazing
  6. I’m in 11124. C1 infinite balcony not rough last night but still creaking cracking and moaning all night long i opened the metal blind at 4:30 this morning but no improvement
  7. I am on Beyond right now 11124 and creaking noises are awful. Cabin is closer to front elevator bank last night I hardly slept. Calmer tonight and expected better but it’s still creaking away.
  8. I am on Beyond now 11124. Hardly slept last night. Tonight is calmer but creaking and banging noise is just as bad. Will go to guest services tomorrow and hopefully something can be done. This is a beautiful ship with beautiful venues but the noise is really bad.
  9. Koningsdam May 7-14 Weather was very good, light layers were all that was necessary. Scenery amazing. The ports - saw many empty storefronts, lack of tourism hurts. Loved Dutch Cafe, Pizza was very good and Dive in very good also. Buffet quite crowded. Not the Holland buffet I remember but the salad bar is very good and available every meal. Dining room fresh halibut fish and chips were very soggy but in hindsight it’s very difficult to serve hot and fresh fish and chips in a large group setting. The staff is fabulous as per usual Holland standards.
  10. Good luck on the Koningsdam, it is a beautiful ship. Strongly suggest using the Verifly App for boarding. When we went for embarkation the room was a mass of people with huge lineups, except the Verifly line. When we said we had Verifly we were walked right up to an agent, no waiting. Suggest bring your own supply of masks, ones from HAL -one broke immediately and they ran out of replacements. I had my own supply with me.
  11. Not RCL but I returned from a 7 day Alaska cruise (Koningsdam) on May 14, very fatigued and tested positive on May 16. As I live in Vancouver I am recovering at home. I also wore mask at all times outside cabin except when eating or drinking, did not attend any events or music venues. Boarding was very crowded, I walked stairs to avoid crowded elevators and stayed as far away from others as often as possible. Masking was 10-20% by 3rd day and people using hand sanitizer at entrance to restaurants was rare. I feel like numbers are going to explode among cruisers now. I have cancelled a future cruise and 2 friends have cancelled theirs also.
  12. I spoke with someone who must have been on the same bus as you. Traffic was ridiculous that day, instead of getting a ride we ended up getting on the Canada Line. I know they changed the luggage drop off area, we ended up taking the luggage to the parking garage for drop off.
  13. We boarded on May 7 with absolutely no delay. We were late (2:30) because of traffic, walked into the room and saw tons of people waiting to board. However, we had the Verifly app and that line had no one in it. Took less than 5 minutes to scan and walk on ship
  14. The APP will definitely save you time when you board. Last Saturday we were 1.5 hrs late getting to port due to traffic. There were several hundred people in lines and not one person ahead of us in the Verifly line. They scanned our passport, scanned our face against the Verifly one and we were good to go!
  15. Just boarded Koningsdam yesterday in Vancouver. I live in Vancouver. I had printed boarding tags and did have a room change but just printed new ones. The whole checkin was a ton of walking to different levels and areas. We were very late because of horrible traffic and ended up getting dropped at a Canada Line station to take the train in. Having luggage tags already on the cases really helped. I had paper copies of test and boarding pass but the number one tip I could give anyone is to have the Verifly app on your phone and load all your information on it ahead of time. We literally had not one person ahead of us in the check in line, the staff scanned passport, took a picture of me and I walked on. There were hundreds of people waiting in the other lines and no one in the Verifly line I was asked for the paper boarding pass a couple of times to enter a couple of areas, never for test. Of course the test was already loaded into Verifly
