Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. The small square on the left of the image is the balcony. For 12624 the notch out from the room (so to give extra room to put the bed) is not right next to the balcony. However being a mini suite I think they always put the sofa near the balcony don't they? On this new ship they probably swap the bed and what ever (dresser/storage?) is near the bathroom? Who knows though until we start seeing some sneak peaks of the cabins. Can't wait for that! 🙂
  2. Pretty sure. 🙂 If the deck plans are correct it definitely should be. The notch pushing out from the room is so the bed can fit in the room and the sofa would go right next to the bed
  3. I look for the same thing! I prefer to have the sofa near the balcony when possible too. 12624 will have the sofa near the balcony. How to tell is to look for the notch going out from the room. That is where the bed goes.
  4. On the Divina this past March a few days (5 or 6 maybe) a hold was put on my credit card for my upgrade bid amount. My cabin number never changed and two days (I think it was two) before the sailing I received an email from MSC saying I did not get my upgrade bid and would sail in my original cabin. The hold disappeared the next night.
  5. I buy it before every Divina cruise. Feels more like it's free\included in the cruise when I've paid for it well ahead of time. 🙂 There is no difference in price between on board and beforehand so you can wait but I like having it done not having to spend the time going to the F1\4D theater to sign up. It does include everyone in your cabin and all 3 (F1, 4D, and Bowling) are unlimited use. Mostly we use it for the bowling and will maybe do one or two movies and one or two spins with the F1 but mostly it's the bowling. I have almost never seen both alleys working for a full cruise but usually one will be. Do check your bill after a day or two though. A couple of cruises they billed me for each string of bowling but a trip to the service desk was all it took for have them removed and the billing fixed for the future ones.
  6. The bottles were on top of the desk along with glasses. Our most recent cruise we had 4 vodkas, 2 gins and 2 whiskeys (I think, could have been scotch...traded them for more vodka).
  7. Darn! You mean the first round of soda and beer is part of the mini bar free set-up? I guess I should have asked on board! Have had 2 cruises as elite and both I ran to the buffet to get Diet Coke before turning in so I make a rum and coke or vodka and Sprite to drink on the balcony. Doh! 🙂
  8. Now that is an upgrade I would pay for! LOL!
  9. Might finally have to watch that now! 🙂 🙂 🙂
  10. That was definitely one of the draws for this one. I expect it will be a very interesting night! No idea yet on our costumes yet. My brother and I were thinking the Dumb and Dumber suits, but the wives are thinking they want more a group costume. We will see!
  11. Great idea! 🙂 Drop me an email at live2cruise@gmail.com and we can connect.
  12. Thanks for the quick reply! I like they don't do back-to-back and did the first time change early. Enjoy the crossing!!! 🙂
  13. I'm on this cruise next October (can't wait!). Can you tell me how they are handling the time changes? Losing an hour a night for the first few sea days? Thanks! :)
