I would imagine all 3 sets of occupants will get onboard together when you arrive. We sail from Barcelona the week after you and we’re given 4.30pm. It is much cheaper to use the National Express coach service which runs between Heathrow and Southampton Coach station and then a 5-10 minute taxi to the cruise terminal. You have a better choice of departure times and the price includes luggage up to a certain weight. We use it all the time and see many people from the US also use this service to get to and from the airport and Southampton. It’s best to book well in advance on their website to get the best price and choice of times.

Easy and cheap to use the National Express coach from Southampton to Heathrow with a short taxi ride from the ship to the coach station beforehand. Cunard do not always provide transfers to the airport.

We were refused a request for upgrade or seat allocation by Cunard in advance, and unable to check in until we arrived at the airport.
