Personally, I'm really concerned about the rowdy "Knitting Group" on my December cruise! 😉

I have tipped in USD in Canada but first asked the porter/bartender if they minded USD. The porter laughed and said he actually preferred USD. I'm glad I asked though, because it must be a hassle to exchange money at their bank. I normally prefer to use the currency of the country I am in when traveling. ~Nancy

That's a lot of sand! I would guess that anyone outdoors would soon also have sand in their hair and eyes!! 🫣 I just was reading an article online about a cruise ship that ran into the pier in Kusadasi last week and came across the picture of the Celestyal Journey with its bow bulb crunched. Notice its neighbor??!!

Definitely go to Geirangerfjord if your cruise ship doesn't go there! It's much more impressive than the Bergen Mostraumen boat cruise if you have the choice. I am, however, going on the Mostraumen boat with someone who doesn't have any other opportunities to see any of the other larger fjords. Have a great time!! ~Nancy

I was under the impression that when crew scanned your card at the bar/shop that your picture shows on their computer screen. Is that not true? If so, if someone had your card and tried to use it either by mistake or on purpose, the crew wouldn't let them. `Nancy
