Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Chicken Parmigiana was on the main dinning room menu Day 1 on Conquest in April..and it was awesome!!
  2. Mine were orange (deck 6 mid ship) Now they are red...looks like some sort of error? I'm going to stick with the orange ones that I've already printed
  3. On the first day menu on Conquest there is Broiled Strip Loin Steak ( is the flat iron steak a thing of the past?) Tried it last cruise and it was just OK. My Question is if your order the $20 NY strip loin steak from the steakhouse options is it a better cut and worth the upgrade? Also with these options coming from another galley are they delivered hot and yummy? Thanks Daddo
  4. Red Frog Bar on Conquest opened at 7...
  5. The old fashioned BBQ is the best kept secret for embarkation day. Doug Parker of Cruise News Today mentions this in his Conquest review and I can tell you its true. Last April we went for lunch -while the buffets were crazy - and there was one other couple there? Food was great BBQ chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket, and salads like coleslaw potato salad etc....but keep in mind this is just between you and me ...We are back on Conquest in April this year...Cheers
  6. They will put you at a table for two ...that's the good news ...the next table for two will be inches away so you just have to roll with it ...I met some really nice folks at the next table and a couple who were not into chatting which was fine by me...and it will likely be staggered so you might be having your main course when they sit down to order and you usually get the same table if you come around the same time each night
  7. Its not included in the 59.95 per day ....its 59.95 plus 10.79 gratuity so 70.75 per day per person... and of course you can save a bit if you purchase on line before you cruise
  8. Also I had booked the drink package before the price increase but that went with the revision and I will have to re-book at the new price
  9. I have moved my cruise three times and kept my $198 deposit for each ....I believe this is a covid thing and yes because the $500 on board credit was still part of the promotion I moved from this November to next April I got this as well. And the most recent revision was easy with only being on hold for a few minute.
  10. Are you telling me my free bottle of water is at risk?
  11. the 4.32 is the 18 % gratuity which you would pay anyway and the tax is because your still in port
