As of last year your app showed the 50% off price I quickly booked from another cruise ship in Nov 2022 for a 28 day cruise in April 2023 before the last price raise. In early 2022 they were still charging you full price and refunding the overpayment as OBC.

I did 25 days on Princess in April, May we were not tested at all during the cruise and all the positives were found when they had to test to go back to the US. We were only a cruise of 1500 people by the second leg and I gather close to 20% tested positive at the end. Keeping in mind anyone staying in Europe or like me going back to Canada did not though I did a week later to go to Bermuda and fortunately tested negative

Bermuda had already said they will be requiring the testing and authorization at least until next year

I have not done VV yet doing it in December but yes they are probably hoping that they don’t need it next year as do we all. But all the ships I have been on this year have all used deck 9 balconies for the Covid wing

Hopefully you have gotten through by now I have spoken to them twice both times rather that waiting on line I requested a call back first day which was Friday I called around 10am and got a call back about 5 hours later second time was Sunday requested a callback around 8:30 and received a callback around 2 hours later and after a bit of negotiation rebooked a cruise for early December. Now just waiting for my access Key so I can make it back to back

Actually 2004 I was on he inaugural Caribbean cruise on the opera in I think fall 2004 even then there were lots of bitching but I had a great time. Sadly post Covid everyone has lousy client service they lost a lot of staff and you can get a different answer from each staff member for each question. And then of course there is the wait times!!
