We see that their attitude has not change. We don't know any travel agent because we have always done the bookings on our own. We have never had a problem with a reservation, but leave it to MSC to be the first one. 🙂 This travel agency that gives Marriott points was good, we may try them again. Has anyone reserved with a travel agency instead of directly with MSC? Did you encounter any problems? If you did, did the travel agency handle it or tell you to call MSC? We want to cruise on the MSC World Europa, but book with a travel agency that gives us Marriott points. Thank you for your help!

This is one of my concerns with MSC if for any reason we need to cancel a cruise. How have you booked your cruise with MSC? Through MSC directly or through a travel agent? Did you find it easier to get your refund through a travel agent?

We're going to sail with Celebrity and leave MSC for one of our trips to Europe. We see that the MSC World Europa sails out of Barcelona. Maybe in a couple of years. Thank you for your replies. 🙂

We also have Elite on Celebrity and Platinum on Princess. Which one should we give them to get the highest match? We're trying to decide if to reserve the World Europa or the Explora II in Europe for 2025. Both are owned by MSC, but would the status apply to both lines? We have not sailed MSC since 2013. We're not familiar with them. They seem to have grown a lot. Thank you for your reply.

We have diamond status on Royal Caribbean, do they match that to diamond on MSC?

We may take a Holland America cruise that has a stop in La Goulette. Is there anything to do/see in the terminal area? shops? restaurants?

We were just on RCI and as diamond members we had 4 drinks to consume daily at any time and any bar or during dinner. As elite members on Celebrity, are we supposed to only go to a designated bar and sit there two hours to have a drink/s or do we have a certain amount per day?

In the WJ there are managers always standing around. You can stop any of them and they will get a chef to come out and talk to you. They will cook something for you that you choose from what they have available that day. Never had a problem and we're sailing on our 41st cruise next month. I decided to add the "safe to use" options on my list because before they would not use anything, just to be safe, now they can use the spices that are safe for me.

I am allergic to several common herbs and spices plus rice and peanuts. I always carry a list that has all my allergies in red and next to it a list in green of what is safe to use. When we travel abroad, I take several copies of my list in the language of the country we are visiting. The first day on the cruise you will have to eat something simple, but after that they will give you the menu for the next day so you can order and they will use only the seasoning you can eat. You can also order lunch for the next day to eat in the MDR. Even if you do anytime dining, they will have your order from the next day. If you go to a specialty restaurant, you should go the day before and provide them with a copy of your list. Enjoy your cruise!

Can you use the diamond drinks to have a cappuccino?
