  1. This is our first time sailing with Celebrity. We sail out of Rome --Civitavecchia--on April 23. I think our 45 day check in is on 3/9-- this Saturday. What does this involve? Is it important to check in early for any reason? Do we select a boarding time? Where do I look to get that information. Does Celebrity send an email or do we contact our travel agent?

Sailing on 4/23/24-- did not purchase the all inclusive package. Paid gratuities separately and we were going to get the premium WiFi for 2 devices. What's Included Premium Wi-Fi for two devices. Complimentary room service, unlimited (waived delivery fee & gratuities) Early access at the terminal. (See FAQs for more information) Priority luggage delivery to staterooms. Welcome lunch in the main dining room served from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm; be sure to select an early boarding time. Priority departure from ship to shore in ports that require tender service. Reserved seating at shows in The Theatre. Express luggage service in the terminal when debarking. -Prem WiFi cost for 2 devices is $34.99 for one person. That is what we were originally considering. -The Complimentary room service-- is tempting since we have 2 tours that have a 7:15-7:20 meeting time and there is no fee or gratuity for this. Think with our concierge cabin-- we have room service, but would have to cover the delivery and gratuties. -Since we are in a concierge cabin, we supposedly already have a welcome lunch. Think this is a good value?
  3. How is one informed if there is a flash sale on something pre-cruise? I missed the one for WiFi, which I stumbled on just by chance. We booked our 4/18/24 cruise through a TA-- we have never had any communication from email or any other way.
  4. Thank you for that information-- I just assumed that it was a train station. We are staying in the Dorsoduro section of Venice-- so guess I'll figure out how to get to our hotel from the Isola Nova del Tronchetto

Update on a transfer from Ravenna to Venice: I called Celebrity a couple days ago and asked if they were going to add any busses for the post cruise transfer from the port of Ravenna into Venice which shows as "sold out". The price listed on the shore excursion page was $87.99 per person. Below is the description of this transfer: "This transfer is recommended for guests traveling from Ravenna to Venice. The transfer will drop you off at Isola Nova del Tronchetto, in the Venice city center, where you can easily access buses, cars, taxis, and water taxis to continue your journey. Before the cruise ends, you will receive your luggage tags and important debark information" The person I spoke with said that he could book us (husband and me) for $58 per person. So I did -- he didn't ask for any payment info. I called my travel agent after I hung up and he confirmed that we were indeed booked on this transfer and payment was due now, which we did through him. So we are set-- except for getting from the train station in Venice to our hotel. Not sure why the price was lower-except that maybe that was the "pre-cruise" excursion price. Hope this helps some others on this board.

  7. Our cruise ends in Ravenna and we need to get to our hotel in the Dorsoduro area of Venice. I just found out today that I missed out on the ship's transfer-- it was listed under "shore excursions" ! So now we need to book something on our own. Hoping for the most direct transport. I am aware of the distance involved-- we dock very early and don't have any tours booked in Venice yet, so not under any time constraints. Thank you for your help.
  8. I finally found it-- seemed to have to log in a second time. Question-- Is this service just for one bage of laundry during the cruise? And/or do you pay this each time you send a bag of laundry.
  9. This doesn't exist on my booking. Manage my Trip has no pull down for gifts. When I go to "gifts and gear" there is nothing to choose!
  10. Sailing on the Constellation --10 day Italy/Croatia cruise in April. Booked in a concierge veranda. I vaguely remember that there are specific boarding times and possibly a lunch on boarding day for those booked in concierge class. I can't seem to find that info in my reservation. I assume it will show up when I am able to check in-- 45 days before the cruise. Trying to book a shuttle to the cruise port and need to know about timing. Also, a fellow cruiser mentioned something about a laundry package that can be pre- booked. Also cannot find this on Celebrity web site. Hope someone on this board can enlighten me. Thanks!!
  11. We sail out of Rome on the Constellation on 4/23/24. Will it have been refurbished in dry dock before then? I had read that it was due for some updates in April, but didn't know how to find out when.
