Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. It was running last week and it was fantastic!
  2. I got off Allure last week and it was not offered on our 4 night cruise.
  3. Probably about 4 hours. The shuttle probably leaves between 9 and 9:30 and takes about an hour to get there. You probably get back on the shuttle between 2 and 2:30.
  4. I saw a post yesterday where a woman got off Allure at 6:40 am. But, she is Diamond Plus and was a Suite Guest so she had priority departure. She said she was the third person off the ship.
  5. Try this link. Scroll down and start with 5 night: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruises?search=departurePort:FLL,MIA,PCN,TPA|nights:2~5,6~8|startDate:2024-12-22~2024-12-31&sort=by:NIGHTS|order:ASC&country=USA
  6. We went whale watching in Juneau last summer, also with the company that provides money back if you don't see a whale. We saw so many whales and several up close. It was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had.
  7. We got a guaranteed balcony for a cruise on Quantum to Alaska last summer. We'd been before so decided to take a chance on the guarantee because of the price. Our obstruction was the overhang at the top so it was not a problem.
  8. We are on a 4 night on Allure at the end of February and I noticed the entertainment options were available to reserve last week. The Comedy show was one.
  9. Yes, I was on a knee scooter for a cruise after breaking my foot and had no issues!
  10. I'm in Greenville, NC, and we did an Alaskan cruise from Seattle last year. The best deal I found was on Alaskan Airlines out of RDU (American from RDU to Dallas Forth Worth, then Alaskan from there to Seattle). We flew home direct on Delta. It was actually cheaper for us to book one-way flights on different carriers, so check that out. I would wait until after the new year to book. Experts say that the best prices are about 6-8 weeks out.
  11. I don't think so. I got a Royal Up for the lowest category I put a bid on. I checked multiple times to see if I could place new bids on the higher category rooms, but the system would not let me. I do know that the cruise was sold out, so I was grateful to get any upgrade.
  12. There are excursions where you can enjoy local seafood!
  13. I have a bunch of theses I won at trivia!
