Has anyone paid the $5 charge to call friends and family on the ship? How did it work? I guess everyone in our group has to pay the $5 to receive calls. Does it work with iPhones as well as Samsung? How was the reception? Do you pay before the cruise or once on ship?

When you sign I. To get your boarding pass on Carnival, what time zone are they using?

When you get a casino offer with free drinks, in the casino or everywhere on the ship, does the offer include a tip for the sever or do I tip the server? I know the drink package says it includes an 18% tip for the server.

Is there a standard for when a guarantee room assignment is made? I am doing a b2b on the Dream and one cruise is a guarantee. I am just anxious to see if the rooms are the same or similar.

Must I bring bills or can I write the tip on the receipt? Will I sign a receipt for a Diamond voucher?

How would I get with luggage from the Mardi Gras to the Magic? I think most Uber Lyft drivers would want a longer and more profitable fare. Has anybody done this?

We are planning to cruise on Mardi Gras and then get on the Magic, both in Port Orleans. Will Carnival offer a free Covid test before leaving the Mardi Gras, like on a b2b, or would we be on our own in the port area to find a test? Anyone else had this situation?

Has anybody done this before? I would think a Lyft or Uber would want a longer fare. Will it be a problem getting transport for a short distance?

How do you disembark a cruise on the Mardi Gras and embark on Carnival Magic? Can you walk between ships? We can roll our luggage.

Thoughts on visiting Garden of the Groves and distance from the port? Cost of a taxi? I don’t see a lot That interests me in Freeport. What is walking distance just off the ship. Is there shopping, park, etc?

Has anyone used the “free/reduced airfare”option? I am worried we may have many stops or overnight flights. Please share your experiences good or bad.
