Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We enjoy a cigar in the evening, one of the reasons we choose Princess, Churchill's speakeasy cigar lounges are great. We do not smoke in the Casino.
  2. We love Princess, and Churchill's cigar lounge!!!!
  3. Hello-- the last few cruises we were on there were no cigars at all in the humidor. Best to bring along your own for the trip.
  4. hello,, The last cruise we were on was Enchanted, NOV. 2021... there is still the Churchill lounge , but they took all the cigars out of the humidor and no one was allowed to smoke cigars in there. Just cigarettes... really ridiculous!!! We were told some BS reasons!!! One reason we are loyal to Princess, IS their smoking lounge. They have an outside area with nice seating on one of the upper decks , don't remember which. Still it was disappointing!!! DONNAKG
  5. hello, just checking to see how the luggage situation has been. Some of you have posted no problem with carryon only. Anyone recently at LHR with checked baggage???? Just wondering if the bags are still piled up to the ceiling,, YIKES???!! . Our flight is Sept 14th CVG to BOS and then onto LHR. thanks for the info, DONNAKG
  6. Hello, I read that their are taxis , trains , buses from Greenock cruise port to Glasgow . I am trying to find suggestions on tours . All the Highland tours seem to be either sold out or take longer time than our ship will allow. Emerald Princess is due to arrive Sept 24, 8- 7pm We like a small tour group or private taxi tour, which I am not finding . Any info or experiences for this stop would be great. thanks DONNAKG
  7. hello! We are flying onto LHR 3 days pre cruise. Using Viator private transfer from airport to our Hotel in city center.$120. On cruise day we are using Viator again from our hotel to Southhampton port $373. pricey , yep! traveling is not cheap😉 We have Transfers from Princess from port back to LHR airport returning home. 8. We_Like_to_ Cruise Thanks for all your info., Do you happen to know if you can walk to the Sixt car rental/ OR how long is the walk? If not , are there taxis waiting at the cruise terminal? We would like to do the Giants causeway on our own. You prebooked your Titanic museum tix... Is that necessary? DONNAKG
  9. Hello! thanks again for all your help! I did call Princess and he said he think a self administered Antigen test is what you need to do. What ? Do you show them the stick with the pink line? After some research i found under Cruise health: * Effective on voyages departing on Sept 6 , 2022 & beyond... Departing from USA, United Kingdom and Europe.. voyages up to 15 days, fully vaccinated .... Testing not required* Guess I will wait and see who is correct???
  10. thank you everyone for the encouraging posts. MILOLI-- THANKS FOR YOUR INFO! Could I ask where you are getting your covid test to board your cruise ship? Princess asked for antigen 3 days prior at the earliest. We are flying in 3 days early to London, have a hotel. Having trouble finding an antigen test at Heathrow. Have you or anyone used the BinoxNow /emed proctored?? THANKS AGAIN DONNAKG
  11. hello! We fly into London LHR airport for our upcoming , British Isles with Princess ,cruise, arriving on Sept15th. I READ THE AIrPORT IS TRYING TO STOP so many people from coming in. I am a bit concerned about the baggage fiasco. I really hate to take a carryon and backpack for almost 16 days. Normally , my hubby and I each take a large one. Any one been there lately? THANK YOU DONNAKG
