  1. Great to learn! I have plenty of options, then. The only dress I own is a caftan--strictly for home. ha ha
  2. So formal nights mean a full gown or cocktail dress for women? I've always worn black slacks and a sparkly/fancy-looking top for formal nights. So that won't fly with Silversea?
  3. And, Khareef, you have provided more information about the Seabourn experience than I've found elsewhere on this board. I appreciate that a lot. One is always a bit anxious about trying a new line. Several reviews I read talked about how lively and involved the expedition team members were. If they are on board for our Pursuit's TA next month, they could be a real plus even though there are no expedition activities--just bringing energy to the room.
  4. It's on this site. ere's a link: https://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=697183
  5. HA! I suspected as much. That poster complained about everything. I just learned about the caviar last week and was looking forward to having some. Our TA cruise won't be typical expedition--the zodiacs are eye candy only. But that's okay with me. Thanks for the response.
  6. Just read a review that stated there was no caviar on Seabourn's Expedition ships. Is this true? It was a highly negative review so I wondered at the accuracy.
  7. Does Seabourn do this? How does one sign up? I went to the Meet and Mingle page but didn't see anything about how to do. I have signed up for the Roll Call. I've been away from CC for several years so not current with practices. Tried doing a search in the board but nothing ever loaded.
  8. I am thrilled about the end of formal nights on the Expedition ships. That sports jacket takes up a lot of suitcase real estate. The jeans change won't impact us at all. Jeans are heavy and bulky--not desirable when packing for air travel. They stay at home.
  9. Our upcoming TA on Pursuit will be our first Seabourn experience and we need all the insider information CCers have. Especially hints on dining options, activities, typical attire, best places to hang out, basically anything and everything. Thanking everyone in advance.
