  1. I could see trying these only if I could request “hold the candy / garbage on the top”. Otherwise, zero interest. Might try a cake slice or two. So disappointed in Princess’s famous chocolate cake on my last cruise. Perhaps the new cakes will taste better 🤷🏼‍♂️
  2. Even best wifi is a joke, and internet was terrible. There were simple, non-bandwidth intensive tasks that I could not do for days. This was Majestic Princess to Fiji on February 11th. Latest iPhones also routinely lost wifi connections completely for no reason (meaning not even the Princess app worked). A few times it was a considerable amount of time before we could even reconnect. These Wi-Fi failures would happen in the middle of usage. Best Wi-Fi at sea? What a joke!
  3. We have had some, but very little. Barely noticeable. One evening the wind was not keeping the exhaust away as much as usual. However none of these things would stop us from rebooking this suite.
  4. We are in D726 on Majestic heading back to Sydney at the moment. We have had D726 booked for a long time and shortly before our cruise were offered a chance to pay for an upgrade to the Owner’s Suite. Checked it out and decided against the move. Glad we did. Loving D726. The expansive balcony is fantastic. My thoughts before the cruise were this: I didn’t see the need for a bigger cabin. Also, didn’t like the idea of the smaller balcony (all for more $$$). Then I always look for cabins with other cabins above and below. Figure that’s a good chance for the least amount of noise. Owners suite is above the Vista Lounge and they often show movies late in there. Maybe we wouldn’t hear a thing, but 🤷🏼‍♂️ When we look down on the Owner’s Suite balcony, the furniture is all there, but seems so close to the railing / edge of the balcony. Our balcony is huge and has a nice mix of covered and wide open spaces. I would book this Penthouse Suite again in a heartbeat!! Hope this helps!!
  5. On Majestic now. Internet is soooooo slow. Running the Speedtest app, it somehow seems to suggest upload speeds are decent. 🤣 They are not! Much worse than download speeds. I cannot backup my iPhone or sync any photos / videos to iCloud or my One Drive account. If I lose my phone I lose everything from this cruise.
  6. Please read the end of this thread. Guest services clarified. The app has the wrong info. Small bottles are included. Just says clearly they are not. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  7. Have never had a drinks package. No idea what was previously included. Small bottles of water including San Pellegrino are specifically shown in the app exactly the same as large bottles. NOT included. Finally found out the app is wrong. They are included. I don’t know why they have the incorrect info in the app.
  8. Okay, stand down red alert. Spoke with guest services and despite the app claiming small bottles of water are NOT included: The app does discount the order: We didn’t bother ordering the small bottles because it was a better buy to get the bigger bottle. I don’t understand why this is all so complicated. Why the mixed messages? Is this a change that’s coming? Still, I will never understand what’s so special about Diet Coke. But whatever.
  9. Majestic Princess. Left February 11th from Sydney. Sailed to Fiji. Returning February 24th to Sydney.
  10. Sorry, this is incorrect. Not special mineral water. It’s regular bottled water. Nothing special about it other than being excluded from the plan.
  11. Nope. The app is not different. We have ordered many drinks to our cabin. Many an order for up to $58 all free since we have the plan. As long as each drink was $16 aud or below, the app has correctly deducted all charges as expected under our plan. We just hit a petty brick wall with bottled water or Diet Coke. It’s bizarre.
  12. We did. And I cannot fault them for this. Was all in the cabin from the start rather than 2 each day, but added up to that. It just seems so stupid that it’s now only available at cost less 25% - just seems so petty.
  13. They have cake. Just seemingly very little. Slice thinner than a fork, but it is cake. Called room service directly. Explained what I got last night. “Oh that’s the chocolate mousse.” “Yes. I didn’t order the chocolate mousse.” 16 oz coffee was more like 8 oz… 🤷🏼‍♂️
