Mahogany Bay is a Carnival created port with two berths. But other cruise lines occasionally show up there, and I believe maybe Divina was there in the last couple of months. I’m sure if the two ships call at different ports, a cab will take you to Coxen Hole. EM
And then we have a puzzlement. I was quite surprised when Explora l headed for the new locks. Her dimensions are 813x105, 64000 by. Why? No live from on the Explora board, and the roll call went silent more than two weeks ago. @BillB48Any ideas?
I note Explora Journeys ships are not on the list…possibly because it is a new line, extension of MSC. Explora l has length of 813, beam 105, so within Panamax dimensions. Yet today, 3/28, she is transiting through the new locks. EM
Pedro Miguel cam…sorry I missed her passing, you can barely see her approaching the Cocoli Locks in the upper left. And entering and leaving the first Cocoli Lock.
On Seaside the Sports Bar and Seaview Lounge opposite often were empty during the day. The Sports bar has not yet been invaded by slots…
Seaside has a second, smaller buffet on deck 16. It is only open for breakfast and lunch, so afternoon and evening you might be able to find tables there.
Yes, wish they would replace this cam…but part of it is the angle of the sun in the mornings. There will be two more cams, one overlooking the Pedro Miguel locks, and the cam at Cocoli Locks. Ship can also be seen passing by the Miraflores Locks. They can be found at multimedia.panama-canal.com. EM
