  1. @Jancruz We used him in 2019. There is a thread from last year where people were pleased with him
  2. Good morning and thanks all! Just a quick hi to wish Happy birthdays to all celebrating. @StLouisCruisers@sailingdutchy and @Cruzin Terri @kazu so glad you had great news and are on the road to recovery. Glad you were cautious as those can be very nasty. Wishing you speedy healing! We have enjoyed many national monuments, particularly Devils Tower!
  3. @ger_77 so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend and another classmate. Just because we’re getting older doesn’t make it any easier. Sorry you had to experience our spring snow, but glad you made it home safely! @superoma congratulations on the new granddaughter! How wonderful. @Gsel welcome aboard! @marshhawk yikes, hope you feel better soon, I think Geri needs to put on a very large order for bubble wrap. DH has sprained his knee, between his fall on the mud and ice and the pup getting too excited. Healing wishes for all!
  4. My two mustangs, as I won’t count the mustang 2! A 65 289 Cobrajet 4 speed convertible and my 70 Mach one 351 fastback. I actually did get to ride in a Shelby! Apologies for the multiple posts
  5. Some photos of beautiful Taormina, also highly recommend a Godfather tour
  6. Good morning and thanks all! Will gladly celebrate Mustangs, loved Taomorina, but not Apple Jack🤢 @dfish YUM, Thank you! Well the snow is back again! And again. Here’s yesterday in contrast to the day before, who knows what tomorrow may bring?
  7. Oh dear Jacqui, so sorry to hear this. Hope things work out for the best! Glad you went for medical assistance! Sending extra hugs!
  8. We used Levant Solmaz a local guide who provided transportation as well.
  9. One other thing to be mindful of is cyclone season. Late October or early November is best, and also for the fall colours. love Palm desert too!
  10. We found Montpelier to be a lovely city, Collioure is much smaller, more of a pretty fishing village. Lovely wine in the region as well, nearby Banyuls sur Mer is also a lovely spot, famous for the Banyuls wine, think a dessert wine or aperitif.
  11. I would agree to go with the longer cruise, you will see much more of Japan. Kanazawa allows you to see the magnificent gardens and/ Or the amazing Shirakawa- go thatched villages. Northern Japan was stunning. Hakkodate in the fall would be spectacular. Also strongly recommend you stay a little longer prior and or after the cruise. Kyoto is worthy of several days as is Tokyo. You really don’t need a tour, the trains are excellent and most in the hotels speak English very well. Enjoy this fabulous destination!
  12. Good morning and thanks all! @Quartzsite Cruiser sending my thought for Steve today! @LambKnuckles hope you get a treatment that works! bronchitis is no fun! @StLouisCruisersglad your sister is out of surgery, hope she has a swift recovery! @Cruzin Terri hope the consult is helpful. and wishes to any others with appointments today. I will celebrate the Golden Arches, DH was a manager back in the day and has a Degree from Hamburger University in Chicago. Yes it’s a thing! lol! I also will be forever grateful that Ronald McDonald House provided a home for our daughter and her family for several months when their daughter was hospitalized last year. It’s a charity worth supporting. Well finally the first crocus were blooming yesterday, unfortunately snow is on the way , again,
  13. Good morning and thanks all! @Denise T I am so sorry you are going through this. We had the most wonderful neighbours for over twenty years and then the new ones were ok for awhile and we are now wondering if dementia is involved as the man has become very aggressive but mostly to me, not DH. After living here for thirty years we have no wish to move, but I can certainly understand your desire. It is very wearing to feel like that! Gentle hugs! Hoping you can get a good solution. We spent several k on legal advice, but for us the best advice was to ignore unless we want to spend tens of ks on court. We’d rather spend that travelling! Hiroshima was our first experience of Japan, we would highly recommend it. We were reluctant to visit there but wanted to see it. We were overwhelmed by this wonderful beautiful city that has literally risen from the ashes. We saw the most beautiful parks, Miyajima island, as well as the horrors of the peace park. Try the Okonomiyaki, an amazing meal.
  14. How terribly sad! Hope the ill crew member gets the help needed!
  15. I too wasn’t old enough to buy mine new, the one I wish I’d have kept was my 1970 Mach one 351 Cleveland. Lucky you to have them!
