  1. Izumi is good but doesn’t include unlimited appetizers and deserts like others .
  2. I really have enjoyed most specialty restaurants on last few cruises, we buy UDP , for the price I think they are reasonable considering they include all your appetizers and deserts . Chops was particularly good on last two cruises on harmony and allure so has the Italian restaurants.
  3. 221 to MSc seaside yacht club 325 to rock and romance music charter in a royal suite on Celebrity Summit
  4. When we boarded Summit last month there was a sign for retreat passengers so we bypassed large lines and went to a suite area to do checkin , very quick , they also offered soft drinks and snacks. Love the lobster rolls offered in Luminae on first day for lunch only.
  5. While we always book suites, lots to love about E class ships , great martini bar , love all the entertainment from early afternoon to late night , great view and music in Eden , seem to us there was always live music in either Eden or outside the martini bar . No music in suite areas.
  6. Loved Jack Benny one of his famous jokes was a robber had a gun and said your money or your life , he didn’t respond, then told the robber I am thinking.
  7. Glass is not in our vocabulary, need to say bottle. With pizza for us it’s Chianti Classico or a Cabernet.
  8. We always stay at Michealanglo hotel , fantastic location, huge rooms but not cheap. I would look at hotels.com , loads of great restaurants my favorite is Becco on 46st between 8th and 9th , you can get dinner for two and a bottle of wine for a little over a hundred. Another inexpensive fun place is Ellen’s stardust diner , the waiters and waitresses are out of work broadway singers and dancers and performer all day and night while you’re eating. Can get half price Broadway tickets at Tkts locations, you can browse that online. Lots of tv shows have free tickets like Steven Colbert.
  9. My main complaints on Princess was very smoky casino and tiny showrooms, only time I actually saw a fight on a cruise was about saving seats , we couldn’t get to see many of the shows since there were no seats .
  10. Does Princess have the suite dinning room and suite lounge with free drinks all day , also Suite outdoor retreat like Celebrity?
  11. When I started cruising there were no specialty restaurants and no balconies, totally agree on rccl I would always eat there even in a suite they are much better than their suite restaurant CK.
  12. I enjoyed all three on last rccl cruise on a different ship , which do you prefer steak, Italian or sushi?
  13. I like royal up and celebrity similar plan, you must first book a cabin or suite that you will be happy with , but I like to possible get an upper larger suite with more perks . A few years ago we went from a small suite on celebrity to penthouse, fantastic experience but still not cheap.
  14. I don’t think I would like the higher end lines because of from what I heard entertainment is limited . We cruise nothing but suites if on rccl we always add the UDP so dinner is in specialty other meals in suite restaurant. On celebrity we do lots of music charters where we can hear artists that are in the rock and roll hall of fame , we book a suite there that includes all specialty restaurants other meals in suite restaurant.
