I think the correct name is Floss Buns - They are very popular in Singapore Chicken floss is made by stewing finely chicken in a sweetened mixture of soy sauce and various spices until individual muscle fibers can be easily torn apart with a fork. Kinda like Pulled Pork but made with Chicken Glad you got to see the Merlion. When we were there it was shut off for maintenance.
  3. Yes numerous times. There are always cancellations. When one opens it often opens up a chain of upgrades.
  4. Same here.... I'm envisioning some cruises that we booked with Gratuities and a OBC for booking on board being repriced and eliminate both. Iain just said. That's the reason we decided to jump ship. They admit they have been screwing us and even with the new policy will continue to screw us until we make a new booking.
  5. It depends on the Airline and Rate booked. On the booking window there is a suitcase Icon and will give you the details. This is very similar if you booked on the airline site direct.
  6. Thanks --- We don't have to be out of our AirBnB until 10 so should be OK. We did a B2B in Sydney in December and all B2B's had to be off ship by 9:15. I thought I remembered that Luggage delivery --- just like your picture had a number of porters just hanging out.
  7. No but as you know that is a rather short list of guests. Although we are only at 6,000 points, I doubt we would even strive for 7500 with you scenario, as we always travel in upper suites.
  8. Recently it depends on the Maitr'D. When on Edge in Nov/December they would allow us to order fro MDR, Blu or Luminae. They would bring all the menus to our table the night before or at lunch so if we wanted something from the other kitchens, they would arrange for it without disrupting the dinner service.

  10. In the FAQ - Yes. They will contact TA's of those booked to facilitate a rebooting. Whatever that means. I think April 15 was the date they said they would contact agents. Unfortunately my First Solstice leaving on April 8 will miss that... Will see what happens.
  11. I was also surprised and grateful. Laura did say they were working on some changes to be implemented before April and hoped to win us back as dedicated cruisers. I don't have enough vanity to believe I was responsible but possibly just one more data point of them loosing long time dedicated cruisers. Unfortunately after being pushed to jump ship, we will now continue to book with Celebrity but only if price and itinerary are in line with what we experience on other lines. They lost over $100,000 in bookings this year alone. I wonder how many young families on 4 day cruises it take to replace that.
