Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. My husband called Carnival (and surprise he only waited about 30 seconds to talk to a person) and he was told we need their name and date of birth or pin number (for security reasons) to be able to have them seated at our table. Thanks to everyone for your insight and advise.
  2. Thanks for all the great suggestions on hiding the ducks! Someone asked how the ducks got started and here's what I found on the internet: Duck History While references to cruising ducks date back to 2015, the popularization of this phenomenon is mostly credited to an 11-year-old girl named Abby. With a goal of making others smile, Abby attached notes to 50 ducks, which she hid during her 2018 cruise aboard the Carnival Breeze.
  3. What's the fun in that. I've seen many a face light up when they find a cruise duck and isn't that what vacation is all about, having fun?
  4. Thanks for everyone's help. I guess we will call since we don't do Facebook. Do we need their booking number?
  5. Any ideas on good places to hide cruise ducks on the Carnival Dream. Preferably indoors so they won't blow into the ocean and pollute it. Thank you!!!
  6. We have first time cruisers that are going to sail with us on Carnival. How do we get the same table for early dining? Can we do that before the cruise or do we have to talk to the maitre'd on the first day of the cruise?
  7. We had the same thing happen on our March, and May cruises. Use your sail & sign card in the slot machine, set up an account with a 4 digit pin number. You will charge monies to your room/account and play on that money. When through playing cash out on the machine and move to another and do the same or, then take card to casino cage and get cash from your casino account(your on-board account and casino accountare different). If you don't charge more to your room than you have OBC you won't have a bill at the end of your cruise, and maybe some OBC back as cash if your lucky.
  8. Was on the Dream 5 weeks ago with $600 on board credit. Just go to slot machine and insert you sail and sign card, set up an account and charge however much money to your room it will load that amount to the machine. You can cash out whenever you want or move to another machine. I turned my OBC into about $1450 and several drinks. Good Luck and have fun on their money.
