Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Just for additional information. On our previous B2B's we received a notice 2 or 3 days before debarkation day to attend a meeting in one of the Lounges. They explained the process. Our Room Attendant would ask us about it close to the last day and explained that he would get our room together first. On Turnaround day, we met everyone in an area...went through customs as a group, given our new cards and then released. We often went back to our cabins (just opened the gray doors and closed them behind us) until the group lunch.
  2. So during our 1st Leg...we should go where our 2nd cruise cabin will be and chat w/ the cabin attendant? Hmm....a little tip may help too. Nice idea. Thank you. Is that the normal procedure? Or do you normally just go up with the new passengers?
  3. We are doing a B2B on the Liberty in NJ. We have done B2B before, the only difference this time is that we will be changing cabins. We will move from a Balcony to a Jr. Suite. Will we have early access to our new room?
  4. We will be sailing on the Liberty (Freedom Class)....but as long as we can see some water from our balcony....I would be ok.
  5. We had 2 Cruise Certificates from Casino Royale. When we combined, we could get an upgrade to a Suite Guarantee. We are doing a B2B (9 day Eastern Caribbean and then a 5 day Bermuda). We have the Suite Guarantee for the 5 Day Bermuda. We are staying close to our friends on the 9 night, but the 5 night would be the guarantee and we won't know where we will be. The Gentleman from RCCL said that the lowest category we could have is a Junior Suite with the possibility of a Grand Suite. So let me know the pros and cons...what is the likelihood of us getting a Grand Suite? Anything we should check on or be weary of? I appreciate all comments. Thank you
  6. For our upcoming back to back, we have a 9 Day out of Cape Liberty cruising to Bermuda and then the DR....I was wondering if anyone has a compass? Our 2nd cruise of the B2B is a 5 day to Bermuda. I would love that compass as well. How does the Casino work on the 5 Day to Bermuda...the ship stays overnight, correct? Any insight would be appreciated.
  7. To the OP....Most Royal casinos have a Smoking and Non Smoking side. Not a different floor. However, Royal now has a ship that has a smaller "Non-Smoking" casino. That should end the issue, right? But as you can see by this thread....those that will complain...must complain. For those that hate smoking but want to go to the casino....try Wonder of the Seas.
  8. I feel your pain. I'm on the Nov. 12 sailing and they nixed Nassau. I wish they would have nixed Florida. We have been on this ship and sailed this itinerary more than a number of times...I guess I'm sailing to nowhere...but I love cruising and I'm a ship fiend...so I'll be fine. However, I understand your unhappiness. I think its the millions of stories and a few fibs that send people over the edge. I hope that you and your family still go and really enjoy yourselves. You really need a cruise now.
  9. That's what I need...POSITIVE THINKING....that's right. AND...I spent well over that cruise fare. 😊
  10. Wait....this was a Casino Royale Complimentary cruise for me, so does that mean I get nothing? All I paid was Taxes/Fees/Gratuity/Insurance.
  11. Just got the Compensation email....let me get my abacus out.
  12. Does that work for everyone or are you special 😊. Will they give this everyone or do we have to call? About how much does that come out to be?
