Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Very, very similar on our recent Eclipse!
  2. OK. Is argyle, polka dot, stripes, etc. acceptible? Sock it to me!
  3. Totally against the law! SOLAS. Safety of Life at Sea. Picture an emergency evacuation and all the injuries of people trying to get through the halls and tripping over broken glass. Clearly a violation. God help the handicapped in scooters and wheelchairs because cruiselines want to dismiss the hazard and break the law.
  4. I'm tired of fighting. It's over and I'm pretty worn out will all the cruise abuse. There are too many other vacation options at much less cost. Jacked up prices on everything, poor service and food, can't get problems addressed, inconsistent answers, interminable holds to talk to customer service, trying to talk to a computer, and listening to stupid cliches like "Sorry 'bout that", and "no problem". Does anyone even think before they speak anymore? Yes, I've done numerous transatlanic cruises on QM2, but I have done my last.
  5. ...cold lack of empathy... I can top that. QM2 employess decided to move my $1600 mobility scooter while it was in park an locked position. Destroyed the transmission and left me stranded. They did offer me a measly $250 as compensation for my loss via Cunard Corporate. P.S. I can't get off their mailing list for future cruises despite their many promisies to remove me from their list. I won't be back!
  6. Helen, Unfortunately I need my scooter full time and I've seen my share of the bullies too. If there's time, I just tell them to go ahead and I'll take the stairs. Some understand the comment but many, surprisingly don't get it. The epitome of ignorance or indifference.
  7. S_O_L_A_S Safety of life at sea is maritine law. In an emergency, trays in hallways is likely to cause injuries and many cuts from your broken glass dishes. Be considerate. Obey the law. Call your steward to pick up you dishes from your room.
  8. Yes Vienna salt dogs. Very healthy and the salt keeps your pipes clean and free flowing. Recommended by 9 out of 10 vascular surgeons. Spam is also recommended for your daily mega salt dose!
  9. On the same cruise and agree totally. Ordered a hot dog without bun (gluten free). The server didn't understand, so I told him, "Just the weiner", and he said (seriously), "What's a weiner". When I received it, I could have sworn that it was a sausage stick and coincidentally, the breakfast "sausage" in the buffet tasted like a very poor quality weiner (hot dog). Maybe they got the two mixed up. But then neither was acceptible so I guess it doesn't make much difference. What a disappointment. Overall, Blu did a great job!
  10. Been there. Done that! Many times over. This is how Princess now operates. Adios. Never again. "Customer service" is a misnomer. Now tell me again what a valued customer I am. I'm not quite convinced yet.
  11. I'm sorry you missed the tongue in cheek humor here. It's called "being facetious".
