  1. I just priced a 10 night Reflection cruise for Sep 2025 and S1 with perks $3874, S1 Zenith no perks $3436. The difference is $438 which is nowhere near cost of premium bev pkg + prem wifi for 10 nights. Also, the military savings does not apply, or it doesn't for this sailing.
  2. In December (2023), I was notified on the 2nd, which was a Saturday, at 3:32pm that my bid was unsuccessful. This was 2 days prior to sailing.
  3. I thought mine was successful in December when I could not modify nor cancel BUT one week prior to the cruise it was enabled again for me to do so. WTH??? Had never had this happen before.
  4. Love your review!!! We have B3B starting 2/26 and cannot wait! Our last cruise was on Silhouette in Dec and everything was great. Good to know things are still great. Hope you continue 'dreading' your cruise 😝
  5. Embarkation day has a lunch for Concierge class in the main dining room. You can also pick from the Concierge lunch menu. I don't recall all of the choices but there is a nice butternut squash soup 😁
  6. It means you have the 6pm 'fixed/traditional' dining every night in the MDR. They have somewhat changed terminology. Instead of saying Traditional 6pm, all reservations are referred to as Select and the time frame follows, i.e., 6pm, 8:30pm, anytime.
  7. Adding the person on Facebook whom I read this from also commented that most drinks that had been $17 now incur a $2 upcharge plus the 20%. Seems like if you want the 'premium' liquors that they are an upcharge. 😔 Guess I'll find out on our next sailing what is and what isn't. Thank y'all for your comments and insights.
  8. We did one suite guarantee but was on a Millennium class ship, not Edge class. Got assigned a handicap accessible sky suite and could not change to a 'regular' sky suite, even though there were regular ones still available. Fought the water all over the bathroom floor after showering...ugh. Will never do a guarantee again! Guess we weren't one of the 'lucky' ones when getting a good suite.
  9. They then should change the martini bar menu to either 1) reflect the new price, or 2) change the vodka from Grey Goose to the classic brand.
  10. It is from a guest currently on the Reflection.
  11. This was posted on facebook earlier today. If I am reading correctly, premium beverage package no longer includes 'premium' alcohol, only premium non-alcoholic drinks. Yet, it states 'All beverages up to $17 per serving.' So, is the martini bar still covered in the premium package? Or is it an upcharge if you ask for Grey Goose? Anyone else find this a little confusing?
  12. Not meant to start rumors, just repeating what I read. Glad you know exactly how moveups are managed.
  13. Totally agree! I have never had this happen before. I read that Blue Chip controls the 'inventory' and I did not know that. I can only surmise that bids were disabled while they were upgrading their members/players, and when Blue Chip finished 'Celebrity' was back in 'control'??? Actually, nothing really makes any sense and one can only guess as to how it's really done.
  14. The exact thing happened to us! Thought for sure our bid was accepted since we could not modify nor cancel for an entire week. We already have a Sunset Sky Suite and were bidding on a Royal. No luck.
  15. Crispy tacos every day...no. But there is a Mexican area where you can build your own and they will have either flour tortillas or taco shells and they have the tostadas every day so you can build your own nachos...YUM!!! They have all the fixins: chili, refried beans, queso, guacamole, salsa, jalapenos and sometimes beef or chicken fajita meat.
  16. We upgraded from a sky suite. We already had the premium beverages and retreat but received the unlimited specialty dining, etc.
  17. We did not get any additional onboard credit. We got the amount we had initially.
  18. Both times we moved up to the royal suite, we got the unlimited specialty dining, 2 bottles of liquor, access to the retreat and the other amenities that are listed as part of the 'royal suite' amenities. This was pre-covid. If these amenities are still listed under that suite category then you should get them.
  19. We do have a TA. I left a msg and also sent an email to her yesterday and I am awaiting her call back.
  20. We have not sailed any edge class ship because we have no desire to sail in an IV nor pay the exorbitant suite prices. We have a B3B in May '24 that is affected by this change and are very unhappy campers. We are in concierge which are mainly located below the buffet and pool deck on the Beyond which causes a huge concern in itself!!! And I highly doubt Celebrity would be smart enough to assign us the same stateroom for all 3 sailings like we had. We have NRD so it is doubtful we can get a refund. I know this crap happens but I don't have to be okay with it nor understand it.
  21. We had B3B on Reflection which is now Beyond. Not at all amenable to going to an infinite veranda for 21 days. Hoping we get the option to cancel without penalty but cruise contract states they have the right to change vessel 🤬 Would be nice if there were sufficient number of sunset verandas to change to but highly doubtful.
  22. We were on the Summit May 15th sailing. The Captain made announcements every day (once it started) regarding the 'gastrointestinal' issues onboard, urging everyone to washy washy. I did not hear anything from him regarding Covid cases. However, one evening I saw Deck 7 forward taped off with yellow tape and a crew member standing guard. I thought this quite odd because I didn't think that you would have to isolate/change staterooms for gastrointestinal issues. I immediately thought of some Covid possibilities. Thankfully, hubby and I remained well and were fine.
  23. We were on that sailing. It was actually the first time we experienced norovirus breakout in our many cruises. We were fine, thankfully. I felt they did a great job in containing it.
  24. We have been able to request the refundable OBC for cash at Guest Services but you have to wait until after 3pm on the last day (the day prior to disembarkation).
  25. While on Silhouette this past March, it stated 'at least 50%' (not 10% - 20%) would be required to wager or you'd be locked out for the remainder of the sailing. I had always remembered the 10-20 and had not seen any 'requirements' stated on the machines before then. Guess they're catching on to what people are doing???
