This is not a Black Friday sale price. It is every cruise price. Just got off Princess Enchanted Med cruise. Their Specialty Restaurants were $39 per person. Crown Grill steak house, Catch Seafood, & Sabatines Italian. Excellent menus and 5 course meals. No extra up charges. One of the best values of most cruise lines. Happy Cruising! What airlines? What airports? Glad your fare was cheap. I am checking Expedia and all other sites. Spirit & Delta out of DTW to FLL RT for Feb 2024 no stops 2 people over $1,000.

Totally way out of my league! For those prices, I would book another cruise. I'm surprised that you cruise NCL and other similar lines.

FYI - The Plus & Premium pkgs on Princess are very reasonable when compared to other cruise lines. Beverage pkgs alone on other lines exceed these prices. So, you get much more with these pkgs!

We were on the Enchanted last week and saw lines every time for the Reserve Class. So, it all depends on ship, amount of passengers, etc. There is no one answer.

Thanks for your replies. On some cruise lines (RCI, Celebrity, MSC and Princess) they have a set fee for a 3 course meal. Example: Starter (Soup/Salad), Main & Desert for a set price. Apparently NCL does not unless you buy the dining package or pay per item.

Can you buy an individual meal in Cagney's without using the Package/price per item? I can find the Packages (2/3/...) and the menus with price per item only. TIA

Since prices are falling, we are talking Cruising & flying specifically on this forum. I personally don't see it. I cruise about 10 times a year on many cruises lines. I fly to FL, NJ, Europe. Don't see any price reductions. Would appreciate your examples. Flexible yes, FLL or MIA. Stay a day before or day after so won't fly on weekend. Happy Cruising!

'All forms of travel are seeing price declines and a drop in future demand.' Checking airfares to FLL or MIA. Use to be $300/400 PP RT. Now, $800+ in Cabin. Been checking airfares for over 2 moths for Feb 24. Where is the price declines??? I have checked all sources and don't see any declines. It's cheaper to cruise than to fly. JMHO!

FYI - Thanks for your suggestion. However, I cruised MSC 2 times this year. So, yes, I do cruise other lines and compare. This year we cruised RCI, MSC, Celebrity and Princess. Have booked for 2024 RCI, Celebrity, NCL and Princess.

Don't keep track of number of cabins. I am only posting the increase in prices, regardless of conditions.

Price increase on RCI Symphony OTS. Central Park Balcony Booked SOS Jan 2023 and checked price today Nov 18 2023. B2B same cabin 6 & 8 day cruise. Jan 2023 $ vs Nov 2023 $. Nov 2023 $3816 more. How about that?

We were on Celebrity last year and celebrated our wedding anniversary. This year we were on the Enchanted. Without going into details Celebrity Captain ensured we will never forget that special event! On the Enchanted didn't even get an acknowledgement from any Officer. Yes, in the Crown Grill they gave us little Princess cake and sang Happy Anniversary. We were on the Enchanted for 22 days. Celebrity 7 days. Yes! Interesting. It really shows how we all have different experiences.

Many people do not attend these functions anymore. Regardless of cruise line, they are basically for those who want a free drink. It's more of a sales pitch. JMHO!

You only notice cutbacks if you cruise a cruise line often. They are all cutting back. Food, entertainment, perks, but raising costs for us. Been on RCI, Celebrity, MSC, NCL & Princess this year. They all are fully booked and raised prices on all things. JMHO! HAPPY Cruising!
