  1. When I used Stockperks the on-board credit was in my account on the Princess website within 10 minutes.
  2. Is it in the regular Princes app of is it a separate app to apply for that benefit? I can't find it.

  4. I have an upcoming cruise, have linked our reservations with another couple and made reservations including all four of us, and neither of us have made our final payments yet.
  5. I have seen a number of times on here that people say the MDR resevations are not available until after final payment. I have a trip seven months from now (9/24/24), and I made all of my MDR reservations at least a month or two ago, and have not made my final payment and don't plan to for another few months. Was it just a quirk in my app that I was able to do this? It's a 31-day trip and every day is accounted for including MDR and specialty restaurants. And this is my very first time on Princess.
  6. If for whatever reason you don't want your Medallion to be read for a period of time, I would think you could enclose it in the silver "read prevention" bag that you get when you have an EZ-Pass or other highway toll payment device.
  7. I agree with Esprit, why do I need the medallion mailed to me. On every other cruise I've been on it would never occur to me that they should mail the key card to me, so why would I need the medallion? If it's a matter of five minutes at a counter waiting to get checked in is that such a big issue?
  8. I am on an upcoming trip on Crown Princess (September 2024) I have not made my final payment, but I have made two specialty dining reservations and paid for them. I have also made all of reservations for all of my evening meals in the three different MDRs with no problem.
  9. I have a 31 day cruise coming up, I would hope they don't over do the formal night thing. Can anyone share their experience on this type of trip?

  11. I have no experience on Princess, so maybe some of you could help with this question. I will be on a 31-day trip (San Francisco to Sydney) with my wife, and we have set a Dine My Way dinner reservation for a private table at the same time each evening in the Michelangelo Dining Room (Crown Princess). Though I realize we may not go there every single night, we set it up as the base plan. Two-thirds of the way through the trip - in Auckland, NZ - there is a option for people to board for the 8-day leg to Sydney. We have some family members who are going to be coming on there. If they make dinner reservations for the same time and place, is there a way for us to link the resevations and have us moved to a larger table? Thanks

  13. I'm on a 31-day trip next year from San Francisco to Synday and bought the internet pacage for one device for $465.00
  14. For this trip we've booked a Mini-Suite so we don't feel cramped, and so my wife can have the bathtub to take a leisurly soak a couple time a week. Usually we do a balcony, but we splurged this time.

  16. This particular trip is only two segment options; at 23-day from San Francisco to New Zealand, or the 32-day going all the way to Sydney.
  17. Next year (in September) I'll be doing a month-long trip from San Francisco to Sydney as a retirement trip for my wife and I. I'm wondering if some of you that may have done a trip of this length in the past can share how this kind of trip may differ from the typical one or two week trips. I would imagine that there are few if any children, in that it's during the school year. Are the shows in the theater repeated? And what else can you tell me. Thanks
  18. In San Francisco can I drop off my bags with the ship in the morning, and go back out to the Wharf for a few hours and come back and check in some time in the afternoon when it's less crowded?

In business the way to kill a product or service and not directly have the company take full blame is to raise the price to a point where no one is buying and then eliminate it and say it was because of lack of sales. Then they can do as others have suggested and convert the space to another full cost venue.
  20. In a cabin where there are two TVs close to each other - such as a mini-suite - is there bluetooth capability or a headphone jack so that two people could be watching different programs at the same time and not disturb each other?

If I purchase Medallion Net - 1 Device, does that mean one device can actively use the Medallion Net at any one time or that only one device will be able to register and use the Medallion Net durign the trip? Also, does this service every go "On Sale"? I will be on a 31 day trip making this a bit costly.
  23. Personally, I'm fine if they move it along and bring the food at a decent pace like in a restaurant where they want to turn over the tables to get more customers in. Sometimes the service takes too long for my taste. I want to eat and get on to other things.
  24. I have a few Questions about "Dine My Way," perhaps some of you experienced Princess travelers could helps me. I have a long trip coming up (31 days), and I signed up for same time dinner each night in the Michelangelo Dining Room. Is that a mistake? The fact is we may not want to do that absolutely every night. How would I pick individuals night to cancel the reservation either ahead (before we leave on the trip, or a day or two ahead while we are on the ship? What happens if you don't show up, does your booking for the rest of the nights get cancelled? I can't find it now, but I remember seeing a choice somewhere about whether you like eating at a slow, medium, or fast pace. What is that about? Thanks
