14 days! :-)

3 weeks! :D

One month exactly , woohoo! :D

We have our first cruise in October on the Celebrity Eclipse and as we wanted an Aqua class room, are up on deck 11, aft.
I am a bit worried about the motion but I'm going to take sea sickness pills and think positive thoughts and just enjoy myself, and it will be OK :-)

Just 41 days now :-)

Aqua rooms are not different. All standard.
A minor difference - hand held shower.
The most tempting are "first from the hump" 1610 and 1605 (on the opposite side) with extra deep balconies.
However, you need to note that those cabins are located right under public deck and still close to the overhang.
Several OK balconies are on the "forward hump" (marked green and yellow):
Note: 1552 and 1547 are also "first from the hump" with extra deep balcony.
Same potential issues plus a "cleaning spider":
The aft Aqua cluster is not bad.
Two decks below the overhang - not critical (only lower parts of beamses, reasonable shadow).
Lifeboats below, but far below.
Thanks! Sailing in room 1627 in October so very happy with my 'not bad' selection ;-)

Wind problem? No

Problems / comments
This has to be one of the better Aqua class cabins on Eclipse as it is in a nice quiet area, close to the central lifts and is not shaded too badly by the overhang.
There is a big supporting pole which comes down diagonally from the overhang to the right hand side of the balcony, this is a feature of every second cabin and won't affect most people. It did affect our neighbours who had booked 2 cabins next door to each other and wanted to open up the partition between their balconies but had the pole between them and while the partition was opened they had to step over the pole which meant a 2foot step over the angle. Just a note for those who might want a similar arrangement to check this out in advance.
Thanks for the review! We will be staying in cabin 1627 so a good idea of what it will be like.
Quite the idea of the overhang, a bit of shade can be helpful!
Nice to hear that it's a quiet area too, I like to enjoy a good book sometimes :-)
