  1. If you mean the Reserva Ecologica, I don't recommend walking from the rcuise terminal to there. It's rather far away (about 2 miles) and the area is rather industrial and lonely and rather unsafe to walk around with your luggage. You can take a taxi from the cruise terminal, which is not far from the city centre. A taxi should cost less than USD 10.
  2. What is really odd is that the Celebrity Eclipse, which was anchored next to the Coral Princess in San Antonio and was also affected by late arrival of the refuelling boat, got to Puerto Montt yesterday at 9 a.m. and sailed away to Punta Arenas at 6 pm same day. It's odd that a similar vessel could do it and we are still on our way to Puerto Montt.
  3. Thanks, Erber, for this wonderful and informative thread! Very much appreciated and enjoyed. All the best for the rest of your cruise.
  4. I live in BA so I can answer this question. It is not that common, but every now and then there is a storm and south-east wind, which we call Sudestada. As a result, the Rio de la Plata - River Plate- can be really rough. This is what happened on Friday/Saturday. The weather has also been unusually cold in Buenos Aires for December in the last two or three days. For those of you worried about what clothes to take, it can be much much hotter in Buenos Aires and Montevideo. You'll need to take all sorts of clothes. If there were cruisers who stayed in Montevideo and were planning to board the ship again when it returned to Uruguay yesterday, they are going to have a very hard time trying to catch the cruise in Port Stanley, as there is only one flight on Saturdays flying from Punta Arenas. I feel sorry for them.
  5. Thanks, Eber, for this thread. I'll be boarding the Coral in Santiago de Chile on Jan 5th to do the same itinerary on reverse so I am really happy to be able to read about your voyage. If it's not too much asking, can you post the Princess Patter for embarkation day?
  6. Plaza Italia is now called Plaza de la Dignidad. You can find it with that name in Google Maps.
