  1. You need to refare with the current promo to get the sale. Our cruise was cheaper with the new fare, but we had to forfeit the free gratuities
  2. Congrats! We had a mini suite, but we changed to a full suite. Mini suites are not considered suites, so they are able to get the $1 deposit. Also, we are sailing in September 2021 and our cruise does not have a sale. So, I paid $600 deposit for the 3 of us. I will look for sales later to try and refare, if there are suites available.
  3. The $1 promotion does not apply to suites. I booked a cruise for 2021 and no promotions. Furthermore, had to pay the 10% deposit for each person. Clearly not ALL sailings nor cabins.
  4. Also, the $1 promotion does not apply to suites. I booked a cruise for 2021 and no promotions. Furthermore, had to pay the 10% deposit for each person. Clearly not ALL..
  5. I made a mini suite booking on the last $1 sale in October and then later changed to a suite. I hade to pay 10% as a deposit for the refare. I checked the Princess Sale add and no where did it say suites were excluded. I will check again on Tuesday. Thanks again.
  6. We live near San Pedro but sail out of San Francisco because we love sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge and Swan’s Oyster Depot, Yank Sing and Tadich Grill. I love the sea days. Plenty of activities. One of my favorite cruises was 25 days from Los Angeles to Osaka.
  7. Thanks for the info. Do you know if the $1 sale is for suites too. The ad does not exclude suites except for free upgrades.
  8. Wonderful improvement. We haven’t tried Sabatini’s in a while because of a very disappointing meal. I look forward to enjoying many of the new options. Now, I hope the Crown Grill menu is updated. The appetizers and desserts are so so.
  9. I am on the Royal Princess and the laundry is returned in two days.
  10. Sorry, but all of the calls were to the listed help number (855) 426-0168. The first three times I was forwarded to another rep who didn’t know what they were doing. They insisted I called the wrong number, but would then give me the above number. The fourth person, processed the $1000, but said (after a long hold and a supervisor assistance) that she had to email another supervisor to get the $50. Wrong! The fifth time I called, I got the person who could fix my problems after she spoke with her supervisor. I always called the same number. Obviously, I spent the morning on hold on the phone. I was was able to use part of the $1000 to prepay my gratuities for my Hawaii cruise and save a little since the gratuities are increasing.
  11. It wasn’t until I spoke to a Princess supervisor, the 5th person, that my $50 bonus was initiated. Later, that day, I got the confirmation email with code. The supervisor admitted there were many untrained reps. I would call tomorrow after 8 am and insist that you speak with a supervisor in the gift card support department. The first times I called, I was told I had the wrong department, and then was given a phone number that I had just called. Good luck.
  12. Caution, do not order by calling Princess. This is an online order only. I called Princess 1 (855) 426-0168 because I was wary of purchasing the $1000 digital card and not receiving the $50 bonus. My first mistake was calling before 8:00 am. It took 5 phone calls and an hour later to straighten out that the MOM50 code was not entered by the telephones sales agent. I should have known there was an issue when each agent referred me to the number I had just called. Also, my confirmation email was addressed to Margaret, the Princess agent, not me, Sandra. When I finally reached a supervisor, she took me through the steps of online purchasing and the process was simple. Including entering the MOM50 code. She will email me the $50 digital card today. Thank goodness for Cruise Critic.
  13. Thanks for confirming the price. I will wait until I am onboard.
  14. Is the Royal still offering the unlimited for Elites/Platinum at $49.99? .
