  1. Back at sea?  No surprise.   How wonderful.   Can’t wait to hear what you find in the islands.  I have a quick cruise coming, but wait until January to start ship to ship for a while.  Have to see how that works.

You and your mom look so happy…she is amazing.  Your boys are really handsome.

have a great time.  I know that you’ll fill us in on all the details.

    Thanks, Alice

My opinion is the vaccination requirement will hold through 2022 if not beyond.  I am wondering when fully vaccinated is going to include the booster.

Good question.   That can’t happen until Moderna and J&J get approval.   I am comfortable with being asked for my vaccination proof and a negative test.

Thx for taking the time to review!  I am traveling solo in November on the Edge in a single infinity balcony.  The infinity balcony wouldn’t have been my first choice but that’s where the single cabins are.  What was your impression of the infinity balconies?  Thx again.

The Infinite balcony is odd….just an extension of the room, but the cabin is gorgeous.  The single infinite balcony had a life boat in front on the balcony and NO drawers at all.   I moved to a regular cabin.

Ship Traveler. Smoking at designated casino slots are supposed to be restricted to players only. Depends on how the staff enforces.

I have not found Princess casinos to be smokie, except in the slot area where smoking is permitted. I am a life long non smoker.

I think that you can smell smoke when you walk into the casino on Embarkation day.   The walls seem to have absorbed it?   With Covid, I think smoking should be outside or in Churchill’s.

It would not be a cruise if the cruise lines eliminated everything that only a minority of passengers want.

    a) A majority do not do Zumba.

    b) A majority do not use the gym.

    c) A majority do not play trivia.

    d) A majority do not use the pools.

    e) A majority do not use the Sanctuary.

    etc.

None of these things impact the health of others.

Thank you for today’s Daily, Rich! You were up with the birds today. Roy, you do such an amazing job noticing & adding what we need to pay attention to on our lists. Thank you both!

Morning Dailyites & my Sisters. I rarely procrastinate. Roy, I would be a wreck if I waited until the last moment to file my taxes. Love the quote. Next time I forget the words to a song I will say that I am channeling my inner hummingbird. The meal sounds interesting- definitely as a side dish. Never heard of that drink, so @summer slopethank you for the recipe. Might just have to try it.

Prayers for all who need our support. Cheers to all who are celebrating!

    Stay well everyone!

Today’s wine is decently priced between $15 & $20. It has very good ratings. And for the first time the intro description used the word “vegan”. This surprised me. Aren’t all wines vegan? I will try to google this later, and if I learn differently will share. In the meantime this sounds like a decent wine to try.

    #61 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2019

Ripe fruit, floral and spice aromas dominate the nose. Pink grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, white peach, citrus blossom, and apple flavors are balanced by a bit of wet stone, oak spice and bright acid. Vegan

    WS91
    Wine Spectator
Well-structured, with a smoky richness to the mineral-infused apple and pear tart flavors. The fresh, spicy finish lingers with a creamy texture. Drink now through 2022.

Now you’re talking about a wine for me.  Chardonnay in my price range.  Thanks, I will try it.

Making Sunday sauce...started today so it can rest.  Meatballs go in tomorrow.  It smells so good.  Should be a cool weather dish, but when a girl needs sauce?  Even my daughter asked for good sauce the other day..

Chateau St. Michelle Chardonnay for me today....Red tomorrow with the sauce.

Bordeaux is really beautiful.  We were lucky enough to overnight so had two days there on the Prinsendam.  The first day was spent on winery tours, sight seeing outside and a historic village and the late afternoon & evening in Bordeaux.

The second day was in depth in Bordeaux.  Absolutely beautiful city.  and it’s a beautiful sail in and out too.  We were docked downtown 🙂 unlike the larger ships 😄

I have been, I want to go NOW, or to believe that I will again.  Should be there in October...not this year!
