Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I am so frustrated with trying to check-in for our December cruise. I have sailed RCCL many times along with other cruise lines and have never had a problem. Here is my issue: I was born in Australia (moved to US with American parents at about 6 months). My birth certificate is Australian. I live in South Carolina. I use a SC driver's license. When trying to check in, I can complete only part: Country of Birth: Australia Country of Citizenship: United States Birth Certificate State: ****This dropdown only allows US states.*** Driver's License State: South Carolina I have called and not gotten any help from RCCL (language barrier). I have not ever sailed with a passport and my birth certificate and driver's license has not ever been an issue. I am hoping someone can give advice. My travel agent tells me to check in at the port. This makes me nervous because I will not have a boarding pass and the rest of my family and friends will have everything they need. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  2. Thanks! I am a little hesitant because I want to make sure I can rebook without losing the OBC.
  3. I booked 2 Carnival Kitchen classes on the Carnival Mardi Gras for July. I paid for them using onboard credit. I am thinking I might want to change one of them. When I go in the site to edit them, it only appears to allow me to cancel. If I cancel and turn around and want to rebook, will the onboard credit be refunded so I can then reuse it to rebook? I thought somewhere I saw OBC was not refundable. How would it work in this situation?
  4. We sail on the Mardi Gras in July. Can someone tell me the 2 show times that are available? I want to prebook meals around the shows.
  5. I just bought $1500 in RCCL gift cards from Allstate assuming it would work like Carnival. I just read the details. Can you tell if if these will work on deposit with or without a travel agent?? Also, can they be used for payments and other expenses like gratuities and excursions? Any adivce is much appreciated. 6. Can someone explain to me how to use a RCCL gift cards purchased from AllState online (wanting to pay my deposit). I have used them with Carnival but not RCCL. I do not even see it as an option.
  7. I was just on AllState Rewards last night and they had all of the Carnival gift cards. I just went to purchase this morning to pay off my cruise (by 11/30) and there are none available. Can someone tell me how often they replenish them? If my payment is due tomorrow, what time does it have to be done by? I am hoping to be able to get the gift cards in time. Thanks for all the help.
  8. We did connect with them through their booking number but when I go to make reservations, only the people in our room are on the drop down. I was hoping I would be able to see them too and add them. Can you tell me how you were able to add them? Did they also appear as guest in the drop down menu when selecting the guests?
  9. We will be sailing the Mardi Gras in July. There are 3 of us in our room and my daughter and son-in-law in a different room (they booked on their own.) We have connected our reservations on the site. My question is: Is there a way to connect our dining reservations in the signature restaraunts so we are able to be togther? Also, I wanted to be able to pay for there food since I have a ton of onboard credit. Any help is much appreciated.
