Thoughts on Celebrity Millennium for a Japan cruise?
Provence55always replied to jbinpa's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Would love to hear about your experiences in general. We are getting onboard next April (Easter Sunday) looking forward to having my Easter dinner cooked😉. Wishing you a great and safe trip. -
You could bring your own and just bring down a portion to Blu each morning. I do that and just add to my fruit and Greek yogurt. I use rolled oats for this purpose not jumbo oats.

That lunch looks amazing…..definitely for me. My husband like DaKahuna wife will only eat them cooked. Had them last week just outside Bordeaux in a seaside town called Arcachon famous for oysters and Dune du Pilat the largest sand dune in Europe. Enjoy the rest of your cruise. I see you are on the same cruise as us in October, hopefully we will get to say hello. -

Hopefully you are now safely back in Yokohama. I have enjoyed your wonderful and positive report. It has been so helpful to our upcoming cruise next April. You are all so blessed to be able to travel with your grown up children. Sounds like you all have had a fantastic time together. Safe travels home and I look forward to your final thoughts. -

An alternative hotel also in Shinjuku is Hotel Groove, A Parkroyal Hotel. Rooms are big which we like as we are staying 4 nights. We booked including breakfast. Very good reviews. -

Can you please advise the easiest way to get from Osaka airport to Kyoto. All your port DIY information has been amazing. Thank you. -
Thank you so much for taking the time to post I really appreciate all your effort. As they say “knowledge is king” and you have given us so much information. We lived in Australia for three years when 1st married many moons ago and visited New Zealand. You know the saying you can’t beat the West of Ireland for scenery but New Zealand did.

Hiroshima.... the cruise into this region is breathtaking and very unexpected. Quite thought provoking knowing the tragic history of the region. Thank you for this tip we will definitely be on deck for sail in. We arrive at 9 am and depart at 6 pm, we are planning on doing Miyajima Island 1st and then Hiroshima all DIY.

Wish I had your discipline re the gym. Maybe not having a drinks package is helping with those early morning workouts 🤣. We usually have lunch in the MDR on sea days and it can be hit or miss. We enjoy Aqua when the price is right, breakfast in Blu is fabulous. We just put in a MoveUp bid to Aqua for our upcoming October cruise so 🤞

I just contacted Celebrity as we also thought our grants were included in AI. Change came into effect 4th October 2023. We booked onboard on the 19th October 2023.

🤣🤣🤣 I know the feeling. We have decided not to have a drinks package on our Japanese cruise. We will be Elite Plus by then and will have free coffee in Cafe Al Bacio. Plus if you are Elite you get complementary drinks between 5 and 7. Being such a port intensive cruise I think we will be okay with buying the odd drink along the way. I can’t believe you only got 3 shrimp it was 6 when we started cruising and 4 last October. Your dress is beautiful 🤩
