  1. Heated pools multiply bacteria, so no it’s a health hazard.
  2. Hi there cruiser, Princess does have two dressy nights on all 7 night or more sailings. My husband and I do not pack formal clothes or his suit jacket any more. I wear dress slacks and a sparkly top and he wears slacks and a long sleeve collared shirt for all our nights on board. We were on Sky Princess for Xmas and outfits ran the gamut. Silly Santa suits, elf costumes, a few tuxedos and mother of the bride type dresses. I would dress the way you are most happy on a night out to a restaurant and you can’t go wrong.
  3. Hello, no the pools are not heated. To keep bacteria growth to a minimum the water is cool. In the afternoon with enough sun the water is warmer than in the early morning
  4. Glad you had a good time. Did you notice if Churchills was still available to smokers ?
  5. All good , any info is good info
  6. Thank you, yes away for a while, booked with the premier plus
  7. Do those with Elite status have any new or old perks. I have just booked the Sky, caribbean, Dec 23, and read all about the packages, lots to digest. I don’t want to purchase overlapping add ons.
  8. Unless it was first night when passengers may not have gotten their luggage , I have never seen men or women in shorts in the MDR. If it wasn’t a Princess employee I can’t imagine who would have reminded the man on the usual way of dressing. Besides the wait staff shouldn’t be better dressed than the dinners . LOL
  9. After 50 cruises I would not recommend Princess for Honeymooners. RCCl oasis class , Or Norwegian Encore. Less elderly less walkers less scooters. More people their own age and lots of fun pool stuff and entertainment. I sail Princess as an elite and love it for me, I’m no youngster
  10. Agree with the Ensemble lounge, nice mellow atmosphere with or without a full bar
