We always stay on Deck 8. 17 cruises and more booked. The small amount of noise in the morning is negligible. CC is much better than P which we have done when no alternative. We don't drink the spirits in the cabin but we prefer the specialist restaurants as with a husband with hearing loss the noise in MDR is a problem for him.

We upgrade to obtain sparkling water which is drinkable as well as the interesting cocktails in the bar.

The Movenpick adjacent to the cruise terminal is a great place to stay. 1 stop on tram to Central Station and tram stop metres from the hotel. 100 metres to take your luggage on disembarkation.

I think you have to decide if your cruise will be an unforgettable experience if you miss Jordan and Petra and possibly Luxor. Oman is lovely but why did you book? I don't think Azanara would transit the canal if any real concerns about safety but you may miss ports

Our roll call just agreed to meet in the Living Room at a set time,about an hour after sail away. Bar open and nibbles available.

For b2b in August I emailed Azamara several times and eventually received a link. There were prices on the list but it was too late to pre book as enroute to port when it hit our mailbox! It took about 6 weeks to receive it.

We got a response from Azamara after over a month - the day we left for our cruise - with the cost of excursions. Not helpful !

We don't drink spirits and were given a bottle of the complimentary white wine as a substitute. We had an ultimate package so we didn't drink it on our b2b.

On our b2b in August/September we had breakfast on 1 cruise in Prime C and in Aqualina the next cruise. Service was good in either. Very relaxing

We ate in the speciality restaurants for 23 nights. Sometimes we were asked to sign after dinner but it always was a nil balance and no opportunity to add a tip. They said it was an accounting exercise and the new owners do seem to be keen accountants in their thinking.

Recently on our last night on Journey my husband was charged for the port. Guest relations phoned several.people to confirm that all port had to be paid for. We had been on b2b with ultimate packages but this was the first time he had ordered port.

The speciality restaurants do offer a chef's special in each course every evening so that widens the choice. Your waiter can even show you a photo on his tablet of how it will look.

We were told they might provide a shuttle to Greenock station in the future as it was a fairly long walk and the maps provided were not helpful. If you do Dock in Rosyth like us the port staff were great in contacting taxis as there was no public transport nearby. Dunfermline is worth a visit if you don't want to go to Edinburgh.

My son had a problem when his was a couple of days less than 6 months when we were returning from Prague. I would ensure that you have the full 6 months now we are outside the EU and soon will have additional.rules such as visa payments to meet.

The only problem we found was that in the cabaret the Hot Chilli Pipers were extremely loud. I am sure in another venue with high ceiling it would have been fine.

On Journey we were told that someone was not specifically employed to ensure that they have more chefs tables on each cruise so offering a choice of cuisine and evenings

On recent b2b the library was much in use for private functions on Journey. Perry Golf and other functions were held there. Best of the Best was held there. The Den was never so full that you couldn't find a seat. Adding an Atlas bar would reduce the number of customers in each of the other bars. Would extra staff be needed? Where would private functions be allocated? Would it really be profitable to create an Atlas Bar and lose a space which is used ?

We just asked in Aqualina why Dover Sole wasn't on the menu and it was immediately offer and provided the following evening in Prime C. They obviously has the fish on board!

On b2b we saw other passengers getting Dover Sole. We asked about it and the next evening we had that as our main course. We have sailed 17 times or more on Azamara and never asked previously. We ate every evening in a speciality restaurant forc23 nights and only once sought special.treatment.

In speciality restaurants and MDR we always reject coffee and go to Mosaic. Also in MDR and speciality restaurants mint tea requests often bring green tea in a response. Mosaic staff get that right too.
