  1. itf -- THANKS for taking the time to update us. Could you please post the name of the NCL department you dealt with.
  2. Just on TV. I now believe the TV mixed up 2 separate incidents as it is now clear that Encore has not missed any ports. I should know better than to believe what is shown on TV.
  3. No paper work generated when you purchase. You should receive an email within about 5 days of end of cruise confirming your purchase. Also, you can log into your account on NCL.COM and under My Account, your Cruisenext certificates should be listed.
  4. marktwothousand - Saw a news report on TV that one very disgruntled passenger basically lost it and created a melay. He was upset over all the ports/countries refusing to let the Encore dock due to possible coronavirus infections on board and that passengers were not being kept up to date by Encore.
  5. Jersey42 - You are not providing any relevant information to the original post. I can not answer your question until I get an answer to my original question and this plays out a lot further. As I stated in post number 11 ("Not even sure a claim to my trip insurance will garner me any compensation but its worth a shot if I can figure out how to get documented proof my cruise missed a scheduled port due to high winds and could not dock.") I will not discuss this any further until I have a resolution. I asked for an answer to specific questions and apparently no one knows the answer so I may never be able to answer the question you asked. If I get an answer and then a resolution, I will post outcome but I expect this to be a drawn out process as anything involving NCL is.
  6. klfrodo - I cannot figure out how to use this site you recommened to get historical data. Thanks for the sugestion, I will keep trying as I have time.
  7. VTgreentraveler -- I apologize for my snippy responses to you now that I understand what your motive was. The way I read your resonses, I could not tell you did not understand I was looking for the information to file a 3rd party insurance claim. I am not trying nor do I expect to collect any compensation fron NCL....that is what I have 3rd party insurance for. Not even sure a claim to my trip insurance will garner me any compensation but its worth a shot if I can figure out how to get documented proof my cruise missed a scheduled port due to high winds and could not dock.
  8. Thanks for posting klfrodo. I get frustrated with posters (not you- you took the time to explain what I did not feel like explaining) who do not read and/or understand an original post and instead go off on their own agenda. If one doesn't have relevant information requested in an OP, then simply do not reply to the thread.
  9. not relevant to question. not looking for a debate, just an answer to my question.
  10. What department at NCL do I need to contact to get documentation of a missed caribbean port due to weather to submit to insurance company? What exactly do I need to ask for? Thanks
  11. Have a great cruise Greenpea2--stay well. Hope the kids settle down.
