  1. In the disembarkation instructions there is no mention of how you will get on a shuttle, be taken to a large building away from the port shops where you get off, retrieve your luggage, then wait to reboard another shuttle to take you to the port shops and exit. We decided to walk the last part, not wanting to haul all the luggage and carry on pieces for our group back onto another shuttle. In the past, the bags were at the port shops and we left. Sadly, we bumped into a couple who didn’t realize that their luggage was a quarter mile away..... in any case, I must mention a wonderful private transport service: paradise limo. Email Angela and she will set you up with an immaculately clean vehicle with cold water who also provides a mini tour en route to the airport. paradiselimo@caribsurf.com.
  2. Silversea is hands down our favorite. But as everyone has said, it's really a matter of personal choice and taste. What is important to you? I like that we don't have to pay for drinks, gratuities, internet, or anything really....and the staff is professional and intuitive. The cabins are sizable, the beds are comfortable, the food is excellent and the size of the ships make it so they are not crowded. Viking is very very good, but not all inclusive--- best spa at sea, and very good chill vibe. Never been on Azamara--size of cabins are important and theirs are small.....
  3. You won't be sad about choosing Viking. It is definitely a step above Oceania. Ship is incredibly well made, well run, and the clean spare lines of the decor are soothing. The snow room is fun, the "fireplaces" in the public areas are beautiful. Spa is the best I've ever experienced. Food is delicious and varied. Can't say enough good things about Viking.
  4. anyone know what the inclusive tequila selections are?
  5. Sounds great! But in the meantime, don't you think you could add at least ONE good tequila to your offerings??!!! Please!
  6. Hello and thank you in advance for responding to this query! I have sent countless inquiries regarding the availability of premium tequilas aboard the Windstar vessels. The present selection is fine for the passengers who are into a simple quick mixer and don't care about a headache from the added sugar to such brands as Jose Cuervo. We are looking forward to an upcoming cruise next month and are considering purchasing the beverage package. Noticing the abysmal selection available, we asked everyone from "Customer Service" --both online and by phone--to Windstar Instagram, but have not received a satisfactory reply. Tequila has come a long way from the days of the tequilas that add sugar and caramel color....there are wonderful sipping tequilas like Casa Dragones and Clase Azul. Herradura Silver and Espolon Blanco are great for mixing. Can you confirm (or deny) that we will have as nice a selection of tequila on board as you have other spirits when we sail with Windstar next month? Please!!!?????
  7. Loved the FRENCH balcony! Enjoy!
  8. Can anyone comment on whether Star Legend Fitness Center has a rowing machine? Last time we were on it, I believe it did, but can't remember if I'm getting it confused with Wind Surf...thanks!
  9. Just looking for one drink. So it does make a difference.
