Wow! They renovated the rooms…..and look great. Did they renovate the bathrooms as well? That’s our go to hotel when in Fort Lauderdale although we haven’t sailed from there since 2022

@rwmiller understand different cruise line but this is exactly how it worked on my September cruise on celebrity. Booked the first appointment online and then the rest first day on the ship.

@reallyitsmema how is the cruise so far?

Do yourself a favor and get off the ship asap and/ or arrange a transfer or car service We disembarked in September around 8:30 ish and it was total chaos. The line for taxis was very long and no organization. Took us almost an hour to get out of there.

Disappointing to see that they no longer have bands in the music hall. Curious as to how they will use that venue that was perfect for the cover bands.

@reallyitsmema have a great cruise. We are booked on the 2/8 cruise and super excited as we haven’t sailed on odyssey yet. We have cruised on the anthem 3 times took he quantum over to Bayonne when brand new. Are you doing a live?

@MsSoCalCruiser how did you like the hilton marina? We stayed there years ago and were not crazy about it and have since stayed at the renaissance. We are Hilton peeps so would book again if it’s turned a corner. Thanks!

@VernRDH we love celebrity. Booked on odyssey in feb 2025 as we got a deal we couldn’t refuse. Looking at Princess for Alaska and British isles cruises in 2026. Our first cruise together was the golden Princess in 2004. We haven’t cruised on Princess since then but we are looking forward to cruising with them again. We cruised on the ncl encore ta in 2019 and very much enjoyed it. Ship is beautiful.

@yogimax I am so sorry this happened to you. It should be a no brainer that msc should be expediting your luggage THEY misplaced to you. Asking you to pay for it, well yes I would do so to get it back but honestly that should tell you all you need to know about this cruise line. Absolutely unacceptable.

@VernRDH same here. Too many points to get to pinnacle so we have cruised celebrity and a little rccl where we can. We do like the entertainment on rccl so I’m curious as to your thoughts and comparisons on this as well. Thanks for posting.

@FionaMG I mentioned this as we had an accessible cabin on the jewel years ago. The stench from the bathroom drain was awful. We asked the attendant to assist but it never went away. When we were in st Thomas we bought some baking soda and still didn’t help

Is there a specific section outside to wait at for Uber’s? I don’t remember seeing any signage when we have parked previously. Thanks!
