  1. I’ve never had trouble booking Sabatinis on the ship. Of course, we book early - 6:30, it never seems crowded. I certainly wouldn’t put myself through all that grief for a dinner. OTOH, I don’t think I will be booking any more Princess cruises, mainly because of their land support. I’m sick of waiting months for refunds, seldom getting replies to emails, and the long hold times.
  2. I'm booked on this cruise, but the deep end posters have caused me to reconsider it. The eclipse only takes up a small part of the cruise. Not sure I want to spend the rest of it with a bunch of fanatics. Stopped looking at the Roll Call. Also, I noticed the path is directly over my hometown in Ohio. Might be time for a reunion.
  3. Before update I had Dine My Way reservation Table for Two at 5:00 PM every night for my cruise in February. After update my reservation showed Share with Others at 5:00 PM. Every time I tried to change it to Table for Two it would confirm Share with Others. I was able to go to each night and change it to Table for Two.
  4. Good for you. That should make all of us who have been waiting months feel hopeful.
  5. Were you in port? Often you have to pay city tax.
  6. I took a Yoga class last Spring on the Enchanted Princess. There was one other person in the class. The instructor had to quit after the second class, because he hurt his back. I got a prorated refund.
  7. Since Elites will get the opportunity to book the new 2024 cruises on December 13, does that mean they have the opportunity to book at the current rates?
  8. I imagine the most forward balcony might be. We usually try for the most aft. We recently had the most aft on the Crown and a few years ago the second most forward. Liked them both.
  9. We like to book aft mini suites on Emerald Deck. They are covered with large balconies. We have an 11 day cruise booked next Spring
  10. Perhaps people are voting with their wallets and Princess is catering to them.
  11. With all the temptations it must be difficult for a person with diabetes to go on a cruise in the first place.
  12. Each passenger receives a detailed survey following a cruise. Usually takes 1/2 hour for me to fill it out.
  13. We sailed on the November 2-9 cruise. Jon Persson was also on our July cruise on the Enchanted and we liked him. I think he had told us he had been doing cruise ships for 40 years. David Moore was also funny and had long sessions. He also has been doing Princess for a long time. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2016508-where-is-david-moore/
  14. We are booked on the NCL Joy for a 15 day Panama Canal cruise in January. We have the Free at Sea package, which includes 300 minutes of free Wi-Fi per stateroom. We can upgrade to Unlimited Wi-Fi, which includes general browsing, emails, and messaging, but does not support streaming for $229.85/PP. We can upgrade to Unlimited Premium Wi-Fi and watch movies, listen to our favorite podcasts and more with Premium Wi-Fi (streaming included) and unlimited minutes for $379.85/PP. Looking at the NCL boards, internet quality sounds about the same as Princess. We also have a 14 day cruise booked on the Holland america Oosterdam. Their Premium Internet plan is $175.99. Whether emailing friends or streaming a movie, enjoy truly premium, unlimited access throughout your voyage—at a savings of at least 50% compared to the daily rate—with our Premium Internet Plan. All onboard Internet usage is subject to Holland America Line standard policies, which may limit browsing of some sites due to network security and bandwidth usage. Applications that use high bandwidth may be blocked and offerings are subject to change with or without notice. The plan can be activated on any device but only one device can be actively connected at a time, the rate calculation is based on prorating the voyage package by length.
  15. If you have a medallion and fall or jump off the ship they will know where and when it happened.
  16. You might be able to get them in, but they shouldn’t be allowed. Depends on who is monitoring the door. We are Elite and soon traveling with friends who are Gold. We wouldn’t think of asking them to join us. We will meet up at dinner.
  17. Thanks. I thought it was available, but just wanted to make sure after reading the website. This is a Panama Canal cruise, so hopefully internet should be fairly good.
  18. I have an upcoming cruise on the NCL Joy. According to the NCL website, the Joy is not on the list of NCL ships with in stateroom internet access. https://www.ncl.com/about/staying-connected-sea-internet-access In Stateroom Access - currently available on: Norwegian Bliss, Breakaway, Dawn, Epic, Gem, Getaway, Jade, Jewel, Pearl, Sky, Spirit, Star, Sun and Pride of America. According to NCL Chat, in stateroom internet access is available on all NCL ships. Would someone on this forum confirm in stateroom internet access is available on the NCL Joy?
  19. If people are so loyal to Princess why don’t they shut up about losing their benefits and show some real loyalty by booking more cruises, instead of yapping about going to other cruise lines.
