  1. Princess has been doing this for quite a while. Every so often someone will post this tip, which is good. Helps people get the cabin they want. I usually call my PVP and she takes care of it. Particularly useful for booking deluxe balconies. Deluxe balconies have a small couch, which can open up to a sofa bed serving three people. Princess policy of making large groups of cabins guarantee for various reasons is frustrating, but they aren't the only ones. NCL and Holland America have similar policies.
  2. On the last formal night the menu often includes lobster, beef wellington, prime rib, while the vegetarian option is pumpkin crap/crepe. enough said.
  3. I can’t imagine buying an electronic device on a ship or just about anything else for that matter. Last cruise, I played a game of Blackjack on the TV in my cabin and then cashed out. Might explain why Princess is trying to attract new younger cruisers.
  4. So, what is the hurry? These long wait times are a bi-product of Covid. As long as the claim has been assigned, it will get processed eventually.
  5. I imagine the show will attract a lot of new customers.
  6. It appears that once you get to actually booking a cruise, the refundable deposit required may be much higher than $1.00. For example, bookings on the new Sun Princess still require $800.00 deposits. While most cruises are $1.00 deposits, many are not even though it says so on the cover page.
  7. Here is an itinerary I am considering for a 13 day cruise on the NCL Gem for next August.
