( Hbf = hauptbahnhof means Central station for example Hamburg hbf to Kiel hbf ) in Kiel there are three different Terminals, two are in walking distance and one is far away ( but then MSC should offer a shuttle from the train station to the Terminal )

Not so much to tell today. marseille today but I stayed at the ship. I was last year in Marseille ( like all other ports) and marseille is the one I like not so much. After the cruise I stay 2 nights at Genoa and then boarding the seaview on Monday for an other 7 day cruise with other ports. I have a Yachtclub inside there too. And then 3 days Milano and three days mountains in Germany, so there is much to come for me :-))) i like the seashore and loved that cruise. I Had a great time. msc is not perfect but do many things I like at that ship class. I like the many places with music, great parties and every night a different theater show. also you have a covered pool and outside pool. And the ship itself looks awesome with many great places. i paid for this cruise ca. 260 Euro per night in a Yachtclub inside normal room booked alone. To compare I cruised my most cruises with ncl and paid there for a one person studio inside 360 euro per night at my last prima cruise. And that you should never forget when you compare msc, that it is at most cruises cheaper than ncl for example. the food I liked at ncl more and I miss a 24 hours restaurant with service at msc. Both is a huge + for ncl. But I enjoyed the music, bars and nightlife at the seashore more then at prima. And with Yachtclub was food and service great too and a privat sun deck with the topsail lounge and restaurant. For the money I paid I got much value and msc is doing a great job at many things. staff was at msc great too. Many staff on board and mostly very friendly. Had never to wait long for a drink. And that with a complete sold out ship. All my msc cruises was with this ship class in Yachtclub and I will cruise this ship class again. I Love this class. We will see when I try an other msc ship. Maybe the world Europe or Euribia I’m open for all cruise lines so it depends of route, ship and price. last night way to marseille this ship i would like to try too someday. marseille dinner with view one side view to the front other side Good bye

Nice evening today. Sunny, smooth sea and not cold. Yachtclub front with whirlpool Yachtclub pool and the bar. You got their breakfast and lunch too. And I think snacks later. Aurea area. You can go there with Yachtclub too. kids aqua park and entrance for the slides is in the middle. The first days it was closed for paintings. But today it was open again. Aft pool deck. bridge is repaired and open. aft loungers with water. i like the ship very much. in the evening was fantasy at the theater. A typical msc shows. Best shows of my msc crises I had at the seaview. Loved them more. But the shows are ok for a short entertainment.

Valencia today. Like that city. I used the shuttle from msc. Was early at 7:30 am the first, but was not much crowded and easy took the first coach. they let you out in the city next to the park, then you can go Tonhöhe other side over a bridge or park where the city for tourists mostly is ( I think ) was last year the same place. my plan was then to walk through the park to the aquarium, science center etc. that is a awesome place. last year I was at the quarium inside, was ok. But this year not again awesome place to take pictures. Original taken so, no photoshop. from there I walked back to the city, at that place is at the left side the town hall. I went in for free there today only security check, but not so much to see inside. town hall can’t say the name of the place. Was not far from the great food hall. At the food hall I was before. Food hall, but not only meat there was fruits , juice and other things to eat there too. the park is huge an mostly through the city. With sport fields, jogger, people who do Sport there, so Outdoor Sport places and places for kids to play. i like Valencia very much. Sadly the last shuttle was 2:30pm.

The Cunard Queen Anne got floated today. Will be need a little time since she will be out. But they are still working. i’m these days at the seashore. Like a step sister of the prima class. I like that msc ship class. Ja posted some pics at the MSc board here at cc.

Today in Ibiza last time here I booked a excursion to the salt field, a photostop at a beach, a small village and the back to the city and a walking tour there. Was more meh. this time I was walking around and going to the beach next to the city shuttle bus was a mess in the morning. But that is normal when all people leaving the ship to the same time. I walked to the city, that was 3,4 km, at hotels and the water. Was ok. At the end of the port is a stop of the city cruise port system but there was a long lane too. i walked around at the city, up to the castle and to the beach. back to the ship I used the shuttle. wonderful sunset 🌅 in the evening at the Yachtclub restaurant I had every night the same table. With two nice ladies who serve. At the second evening the entrance lady asked me if I want to sit there again. Andi said yes. I like that because I will tip them both at my last day. If you have changing server I know sometimes not who I tip now. i go mostly about 7 Pm to dinner. The restaurant is mostly empty. Today for example but we are late night in Ibiza. At other days it was some table more with people. free tables at 7:30 am today The aft late night. Like that.

BTW. The ship is complete sold out. At the app they wrote that there is no room available. At bars and Lightlife is it great. Weather is very windy so jungle pool is full and Buffett too. But that is with Yachtclub no problem. Never had a problem to find a seat at a bar somewhere at the ship. follow the sun:

Today is gala evening. had a bad timing with the butcher’s cut, so was not really hungry. best dessert. Ice Pyramide. Ice cream in the middle. Love that. outside area. in the evening is live music in the lounge.

morning today, it was windy but sunny. Whirlpool at the front. This cruise is my first cruise as a diamond member. i got a free specialty meal and so I did a reservation for butchers cut for lunch today. inclusive is one starter, a main course with one slide and four sauces and a dessert. service and food was good there. chob salad. Was very Good Filet Mignon with grilled potato Lava cake i try not to post other guests or post complete menu from msc ( not sure if they like that because of their copyrights ) if you have a special question I can try to answer. the menu are all online now. Even at the Yachtclub restaurant. They have some printed too but the normal way is to scan the QR code with your smartphone.

In the evening at my dinner at Yachtclub I had two entrees for example. That is no problem. food is not outstanding but very good. and I like the restaurant and top lounge there with a great view she’s of the ship. The area over the bridge is the outside area of top lounge with a view back In the evening there was 70s party at the atrium. Was crowded and great. i like the complete Entertainment with Theater and live music. Different bars with music. Piano bar, the sports bar with karaoke sometimes there and two bars more with live music and also live music in the atrium and cabaret with music and Varieté show there. Shows in theater are like typical msc shows. Singing dancing. I like Musicals with acting more for example at the new ncl ships. But it is ok. The shows are short with 30-40 minutes. They show every show three times in the evening and you have to book a ticket via app or screen. after the 80s party was Disco Party at cabaret. At 1:30 am the cabaret was full. Nightlife is great here fly over Paris.

Monaday then in Palermo. I was at all ports of this cruise last year. So I know them. I did the same walking tour In Palermo like last year. I use the Komoot app for that and planned a route there. Sure you can do the same with google or so. Not sure if Komoot is work wide. palermo is great for one day. City with a lot to see in walking distance. My breakfast the the top deck of the Yachtclub. good morning Palermo Beauty ship Then walked to the park with the old huge trees and then to streets writhe the food markets. They do barbecue there an a lot of food with fish or meal ( but didn’t eat there ) beautiful houses and streets to picture. and old churches and such things. Have to say, that I didn’t know the name of all the things. but for a day and if you like to walk around a great city to explore.

Sunday we were at Roma. Booked transfer via msc. Sadly we made with the coach a fifteen minute break on the way to Roma. Never had that before at a transfer only. but Roma is great,the city is like a huge antic museum. My second time there. The bus let you out at Washington street or something like that next to piazza del popolo. then I walked through the city. First to Vatikan and Petersdom. To go inside the lane was three times through the whole place there. Didn‘t made that. but inside the Vatikan is a German cemetery. So on the left side we could as German go in to the Vatikan to that place. Was nice an silent inside after the crowds of thousand people there. then I walked to Sant Angelo there. I booked ticket in advanced so I could go in without waiting. If you want to go inside to visit some things at Roma book tickets before. The lanes are horrible long or you didn’t get tickets there. Colosseum for example is sometimes weeks in advanced sold out. After that I walked to the colosseum and through the street. It is great there to walk around an watch the things. the German cemetery inside vatican view from Sant angelo to petersdorm walking around in Roma is awesome At the evening then was white party at the atrium. The atrium over 4 decks is awesome. An it was full and a Great Party. the ship is sold out. Msc wrothe at the app that there is noch free room they are completely full.

If you are in Yachtclub you do a tea time there. They offer that mostly at 4pm

At check in you get both at Yachtclub. I use the key card. Only the band when I’m going swimming.

Had some great first days. Yesterday Roma and today Palermo were great. Walked a lot around and saw many things. but hadn’t much time. Tomorrow is seaday then I will write more about the ship and destinations.

Loved the two piano players. Sadly with Venchi not the best bar there. But their music was great. I love piano bars or dueling pianos. first day was good. Going tomorrow to Rome so I have to stay up early. But it is 1:15 am. And casino and the glow party at cabaret are still full.

Way to cabaret, a club over two decks at the heck. You want to fly over Austria?? It’s changing. first a mix of dance show and now a band. At midnight will be a glow party here or something like that.

Nordic salad Iiceberg lettuce, watercress, red radish, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots Creamy lime dressing Stuffed tortelli with asparagus and mascarpone cheese carrot emulsion, vegetable mosaic, toasted hazelnut -> that was really good. Profiteroles vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce. for me enough, I’m sure I will eat a late night pizza. There is a fourth option with a health menu always, today it was fish. salad is always a little bit easy but the food was good. And there is live piano music from the lounge.
