  1. That someone wouldn’t tell you and very unlikely they would frequent CC.
  2. Maybe, the decorations will probably go up sometime after Thanksgiving.
  3. It likely didn’t change. Every ship and maybe even sailing probably has its own cut off in terms of being able to buy a drink package after the first day.
  4. Not unless your itinerary includes a country with a longer validity requirement.
  5. The free beer/wine only applies to O class ships. If in a GS, drinks in the SL should not use any vouchers during happy hour.
  6. Those menus are the default for most 7-night sailings - it may or may not be what actually is offered on board. The app info becomes the most accurate (and complete) when set to the current sailing. Subsequent sailings usually follow that pattern on the same sailings.
  7. Because RCI thinks that’s what will make them the most money.
  8. Wait till the first sailing of the season similar to yours and then set the app to that sailing (not yours). The info in the app should be pretty accurate and be similar to what you’ll experience in July.
  9. The prices in the planner are likely lower than on board. Simply cash out your OBC at casino. Most cancellations on board end being credited as refundable OBC.
  10. Discuss with your cabin attendant on first day.
  11. Yes, The RCI blog reported that as well.
  12. In the COVD days that may have had some effect - now, you may be asked to confirm that at the pier.
  13. Find a close in sailing similar to yours and set the app to that (not yours) - the shows should be listed there.
  14. If you have an iPhone simply add the SetSail pass to your wallet and it will decode the barcode. For an Android device, get a barcode decoder app and decode it that way (or use a browser based barcode decoder site and upload a pic of the barcode there). Decoded, the numbers should be <booking number> - <cabin or GTY>.
  15. The RCI section of CC has a cabin review section - look at any of the Q class ships for feedback. Unlikely noise will be an issue from 270 itself. You might get more noise from folks in the hallway cutting through there to the back door of 270.
  16. That or go on the stand by line (or watch from the rock wall).
  17. Use a site like cruiseplum and sort by price and port.
  18. All paid venues add 18% grats to the bill.
  19. That’s an oxymoron - if you want to go cheap bring a couple of bottles of wine and drink lightly in ports.
