If you purchase your Cruise on a Saver fare, I understand you have to pay for the Coaches to transfer to different destinations on the cruise.

Can anyone tell me how much these costs are please.

We just returned Off Oriana. The charge for SHUTTLE BUS. Only was £3 each. Each way so a trip ashore was £12. For myself and hubby. Hense we only went on a SHUTTLE once. .

Hi all, so the fjords look beautiful and me and my wife are considering doing the first fjords trip on britannia in April.

 

Just struggling to find a lot of reviews.

 

What are people's thoughts on it?

 

We are both 25 and have enjoyed a thomson cruise and a p&o mini cruise on azura.

 

Just want to know people's thoughts about destinations and excursions etc.

Myself and husband has just returned from Arctic circle & Fjords. Fri 30th.may off Oriana.

We had a fantastic cruise. The scenery is Amazing. More so may thay april we was told by other passengers. Who had done this Cruise earlier. As the Waterfalls are beginning to fall or thaw. The weather was warmer than we expected. We had packed everything for all weather. But we had a large case we hadn.t needed. I was in the pools onboard. Mid day it was really hot. ( Geranger. Bergan ) we didn.t book any excursions as p&o very expensive. A lot of pple was saying they did them thereselves alot cheaper. Also everything very expensive on shore. Especially Alcohol. Hope this helps. . :)

Thank you - we would prefer not to be standing in the room with just the Captain and ourselves. We thought it would be nice if we had some fellow passengers there. We were going to suggest to the Captain to leave the door to the room open and tell any passers by they were welcome to come in :-)

We purchased in one of the Bars on the second day. What we did we got the pepsi before we went in for evening meal and took it with us. Never tried to get one in restaurant. Sorry. On our cruise last june on Arcadia we was asked in the Conservertery just after we boarded by one of the drinks waiters if we wanted to purchace one. Hope that helped a little .

Myself & Hubby bought one on our Jan cruise on Oriana first time but we will buy one in may.when we used it they just crossed 2 off it if we both had one its a large glass.

Hi Frank & Judith here. Welcome. We did the Baltic on Arcadia last June.23rd. We also had an overnight in St petersburg. Fab Cruise. Now looking forward to this Cruise. See you onboard. X

None of 10 cruises the we have been on with p& o have had towels at side of pool. We been on Oriana. Oceana .Arcadia hubby usaly nips to Gym for a spare if we have ever needed any .

I have already tried that. But we will have to wait until we onboard to find out. But my thoughts are if Freedom is only Starting on the 18th when we Sail. Maybe we would be allowed to change it. We have done Getaway /Sver fares as they are now called. We was allowed to chose second sitting until now. They have changed it to saver fare. Freedom wasn.t mentioned at booking at all.

Freedom Dining Starts on ORIANA X411. But when we booked our cruise we wasn.t told about this. We asked for Second sitting ad thats what we have always don on our 10 cruises with P & O. But we was told because of our booking we would be allocated dining when we get on board. So we could get 1st sitting. Would we be able to Change to FREEDOM Dining if we wished. ?????? .

Comes in on Oriana starting from our Cruise on 18th May. I was told of Emma when I rang up p&o the other day.I forgot to enquire about the shuttle busses. ????.

Also did you realise that if you booked your tours Before you sail you Don.t get your Peninsula club Discount knocked off. We always book when we get onboard that way depending what discount you are entitled to will be Knocked of your Bill at the end of your cruise.

Somebody did mention he wud be in the Crows nest on the 18th at about 11am. With a sm jar of Mustard on his table. So I said we wud try and be there. Also a nother tip. You dresses put them on your own hangers.it helps also quicker unpacking.(somebody may have also mentioned it.) Also we was told to take a small torch because its realy dark during the night. To make ur way to bathroom.
