We've looked at Carnival excursions and nothing jumps out at us. Any recommendations?
We feel the same way and have "resorted" (vbg)....to tripadvisor.com for all our excursions.

Considering it started out at about $49, I can't believe
Me either....and it was barely worth $49 bucks. I found out patience is a virtue. You do not need to be first on board, first in line at the buffet, Dining Room, Tender boats, etal. Guess that is what happens as you get older.....LOL

needs quite a few meds both morning and night and uses daily pill box
I have taken my "pill box" for years now in my carry on....with my CPAP and no one has ever stopped, inspected or rejected my boarding. Contraband, cannabinoids, aka CBD might be a different issue.

I’m curious, so I have to ask: what would cause a married couple to not arrive at port together?
If traveling from a distance, which most do, married couples who jointly own a business or other enterprise, do not travel together.

I do take my own Bigelow Constant Comment since they do not offer that brand anywhere on the ships.

We always use porter service with luggage carts; the porter also uses the dedicated porter line....
Learned that tip a couple of years ago and it is worth EVERY penny....even a thousand!!!!

....but apparently she was just kidding around. Got an email from Carnival
Most likely, it was a "blanket email" that was sent to many people. Maybe someone read their email hours before you read your email and accepted the single offering. Depending on your email server, not all emails are able to be read all at the same time. Someone beat you to the offer.

Does CCL Magic serve afternoon "high tea"? Makes for a special afternoon treat for us.

We always enjoyed a "white linen" breakfast in the MDR. There are some traditions that I will be willing to pay for.

Sending thought and prayers to all Florida residents. Dorian looks like a ripper! I know many fellow cruise patons are going to be disappointed but safety first.

I'm guessing the reason for the rule is to prevent sharing, but.......
And the big but.......as long a passengers are going to try to smuggle liquor on board with all kinds of containers and bottles, there will always be rules. Sharing is cheating and there will always be rules to prevent theft and that's exactly what it is.

My kid wants to get us either necklaces or bracelets for my birthday.
Tell the kids to buy from a trusted local jeweler....unless all you are interested in are carnival trinkets.

Will Carnival charge him for changing passenger's name? His girlfriend wants to go now. And what happens if she doesn't go? Will he be charged as a solo passenger when he arrives at the port by himself?
Your questions will have to be answered by CCL...since no one here has the power or authority to make a definitive answer.

I actually find that we have a better time on a cruise if we keep our consumption in check somewhat.
I have a better time and keep my consumption completely checked! LOL😁🙂

We just bought our 100 shares. No benefit to own more.
The dividends are not a bad thing....vbg......the more you own, the more you earn.

cover both sides with the tape, staple as shown on the tag, then cover the end with the staple with tape.
I did what you do and punch hole in end and attach with zip tie. NEVER has one come off....and they are only needed to get your baggage to your cabin. After that they are in the trash and no need to go to an additional unnecessary expense.

Moral of the story...NEVER book a cruise for other family members. Tell them when you are sailing and they can join you when they purchase passage. Easy Peasy. Consider that they might NOT WANT to vacation with you and have other plans for THEIR vacation time.

Every single person who now is alive WILL DIE. This is a 100% fact.
I think we can all agree on that issue. It's just a matter of time. Ask your cabin steward and they will help you with any of your CPAP needs.

It would make a lovely gift for your cabin steward. We do not drink alcohol, so it always works for us.
