Online renewal: Submitted Nov 30. Photo accepted on first try, no issues there. But, the system did have occasional issues sending the one time code. Still has status listed as "Received" Anyone else that did online renewals have a status say "received" for so long? We also just made an appointment for the kids passports for end of Jan. Had to wait for the 1 year before expiration. Cruise is beginning of July. Five months should be plenty of time (I hope!)

You mean you're not BBQing for New Years Eve? 😁 So.... Coming home, we're thinking of spending the night around Knoxville. Any dinner recommendations there? We're continuing on I-40 in the morning. Probably will stay in a hotel after the city to avoid rush hour traffic in the morning (we'll probably want to sleep in a bit). Of course, we may have to deal with rush hour traffic in the evening this way, but better that than in the morning.

We're flying into FLL the day before our cruise. We're 5 people, and it was a lot cheaper for us than flying into Miami ($100 pp each way I think it was, so we're talking about $1000 total). We're staying at Hyatt Place Dania beach. Free shuttle from FLL, restaurants for dinner and shopping for wine both within walking distance. Taking a shuttle from the hotel to the port in the morning. Some reviews of companies can be found here, also other travel sites with reviews as well. Our flight leaves the afternoon of arrival back to Miami. We're taking the cruise transportation to FLL which includes the Everglades tour, as we have a 6 pm departure.

Not too much BBQ.... Just if we will be able to enjoy Ol' Fashioned BBQ after having Texas Pit Master the night before. If there's too much of a drop off, we might have to hold off on Glory's BBQ offerings.

On the phone no limit. Online, there is a limit per transaction. If you pay online, I remember reading about sometimes not being able to make a partial payment. Which would mean having to pay the rest with a credit card. This was awhile ago, so I don't know if this still happens. Just to be safe;I would call it in.

I was hoping for the brand new VCR and 19" color television with remote control. But, lost again.

I played black jack at a casino once. It was a very small one, in a tent actually. I sit down, and the first three hands, dealer got black jack. Everyone else at the table got up an left. I got up also, and the people at, or watching, the table, avoided me. And, apparently, they told others too. Within 15 minutes, it seemed everyone was avoiding me.

Just want to say.... in August we're taking my father in law on his first cruise also. He was born in 1940!

I don’t get it. For years, airports and airlines have been telling us to get to the airport early early early as there’s a cut off time where you can’t check luggage 30 or 60 minutes prior to departure, and so there’s plenty of time to get through the long lines at security, and make sure your travel docs are in order, and in case you need to go through enhanced screening of some kind. Now you can’t check in before 2 hours, but you still have all the time crunch issues above?

Our cancelled 2020 cruise would have been on the Radiance, while it would have been sailing out of NYC. 9 days Journey cruise, going to Bermuda (overnight) and then Nassau and HMC. Unless she comes back east, I doubt we'll experience her first hand. Funds from that cruise were used to pay for our upcoming Horizon cruise (difference is less than $175). 8 days, Aruba, Curacao, La Romana, and Amber Cove. Radiance was 2 cabins, balcony and interior. Horizon is a family harbor suite with a cove balcony. Just wondering: do you think we got an upgrade or a downgrade?

We're still waiting for the rest of the summer 2024 itineraries.

We got the offers dec 9. Wish we could do the 16 day hawaii, the price is really great. But, the dates just don't work for us. Hopefully they do this again next year.
