Need to look at renewing before these changes take affect

We are also just back cruise was enjoyable, but, was it as enjoyable as previous cruises, no. Overall I thought the entertainment was very poor for a celebration cruise. Saying that we too have another NYE cruise booked but may look to moving it

Never been on a cruise with so much queuing impossible to get a seat and served because everyone queuing at the bars been a nightmare. I think 90%+ are on drinks package and getting their money’s worth.

We have stayed in E deck cabins with the pull down beds and it was configured as a queen. I found it quite difficult getting out of bed without banging my head on the pull down beds even when not in use we got them changed to twin during the cruise has I thought I had concussion. I believe if the pull down beds are in use then it is not possible to have a queen configuration. They must think because there are 3 people in the cabin the drop down bed is in use.

I don’t get it 8 hours without entertainment I’ll guess they are going to ban smoking on the plane next 😱

We did the trans Atlantic this year in March 22 days from Antiqua to Southampton on Arvia and it was excellent. You get a longer in the sun and Arvia takes a more southernly course so you might be lucky as we were and have a smooth crossing and sun each day.

Ventura is the ship I have sailed on the most and had thoroughly enjoyable cruise every time. Best Glasshouse (Ramblas) love the plastic tree

The major problem is that the app is not an app it’s just intranet pages. I’m sure the reliability would be improved if it was an proper app that had been verified by App Store providers

You have to book using MyHoliday app once onboard, asap. We managed to book a few if you don’t book you can try to get in because there’s always people who don’t show up although you may need to queue, which we all love to do.

We flew out from Manchester to Antigua on 11th March and it was a Virgin charter flight and on time. Economy Plus just includes luggage, there are other options with Virgin, Premium Economy and First Class. In Premium Economy you get 2x23kg luggage per passenger. Transfer from Antigua to ship took less than 30 minutes but without the welcome you get at Barbados no welcome drink or steel band.

I liked the dining options on Arvia and enjoyed most of the food on our recent transatlantic crossing. For the formal nights I did the chef’s table twice, the second wasn’t good as most of the food was cold. Last formal night I did Olive Grove which was excellent. We also used Epicurian, 6th Street Diner, Keel & Cow and MDR. A mixture of pre cruise bookings and using the app never had a long wait, longest was 30 minutes for Keel & Cow but there were 19 guests before us when we joined the queue. I enjoyed Arvia for the number of dining options and would definitely cruise again albeit out of school holidays
