  1. We have booked a tour with Spain Day tours for an upcoming visit in Nov. with NCL to Malaga largely because of all the favourable online comments about them. The communications all went fine until NCL changed their arrival time in Malaga. Spain Day Tours want us to meet at 7.15 a.m. when the ship is only docking at 7.00.. I replied that I would make every effort to disembark for that time but sometimes passengers are not able to disembark straight away.

I received a rather shirty reply saying that I must go to the concierge on board ship and tell them that I had a tour booked and paid for in full and that they must let me off first!! I have done almost 30 cruises and my experience is that A:  the ship may be on the pier but not cleared by the port authorities in that time with gang planks down and B: cruise lines like to let their own tours off first before announcing that others can do the same.

We understand the need to be prompt so that other people are not kept waiting but there is only so much anyone can do in these circumstances. The email from Spain Day Tours ended by saying they would not wait for me more than five minutes if I was late. I was only trying to point out that nobody may be able to get there in those time scales.

Who knows that will happen in November but the tone of their communications does not fill me with confidence. That is why I searched to see if anyone else had issues with the company.

Also, the 30 minute time change is to match the actual time on Nuka Hiva- their choice.  Just as for Newfoundland.  I never knew before this cruise.
    interesting.

I think you can add Adelaide, South Australia to the "30 minute time change club" too. They are out of sync with the rest of the country in that regard. Very confusing when you come across it for the first time -  would make a great trivia question though 🤔.
