This is not really a true back to back as usual. If I were booking a cruise on Aqua, it would only be the 7 day out of Orlando. It would be a lot easier to manage, just my opinion. Enjoy your cruise whatever you decide, and good luck.

I've had this experience a few times and it really is the best way to do it. I wouldn't call NCL, just say the 2nd guest won't be joining you. Done!!

OP, did you book directly with NCL, if so, I have no idea why you'd be told cancellation of your cruise deposit is non-refundable, I'd call NCL back again. If not, call your TA. It certainly is refundable at this point. PS - unless, as Maanio has said, you booked through a European site. Good luck

Thanks Wolft927 and Sand and Sea for the great info. We are already booked at Best Western for a few days before and after our cruise in May. Really looking forward to our extra time in Cocoa Beach.

A "no show" is a No Show. You will let them know when you check in. You will still receive a refund for the other person's additional charges.

NCL changing your Latitudes # should never happen. I've had the same one since 2012, so yes, call and request that it be investigated. Good luck that you get it completely corrected, not just temporarily!

Wonder if the next thing we see will be a "Premium Room Service" offer for those who do want the twice a day service? I wouldn't pay it but, for some it might be a good idea.

I believe you would be considered in the minority. Most who cruise on a regular basis (NCL and other cruise lines) accept that with the limited number of stewards/staff, that we all need to be more considerate of our hard-working people. I'm very grateful for the work they do to make my cruise more enjoyable! I do not request my cabin to done by a certain time and appreciate if it gets done. Have a good day.
