  1. No worries; I was going to tell you to join the club but that's probably not a good plan. Stay healthy. 😉
  2. I think this one might be more helpful: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2-ports-of-call/ Sounds like a fun cruise, hope you enjoy.
  3. NLH Arizona has shared very important directive for this situation. There's no way an antagonistic confrontation would benefit anyone. Be very profressional and to the point when you contact NCL corporate. Good luck, I truly hope you get some type of compensation.
  4. You have up until 48 hours to cancel... just wait it out. No need to panic or cancel ahead of time. Patience grasshopper, 😉
  5. The world is waiting... you aren't alone in this. Many people continue to die from this horrendous virus. W.H.O. knows when this will be eradicated and when it will be safe to be social with friends, family and cruise mates? Patience and it's going to take a lot IMO to get through this microbiological event. To me, it almost seems as though someone has attempted to create a virus to rid the world of it's weakest beings... SCI-FI... yeah for now. It will get eradicated soon, depending on your estimation of "soon".
  6. Exactly what hallux has stated. Once you've got the info for your flights you can contact the airline and upgrade to whatever you want. I had done this for my flight which would have been today 😢 Oh well... life goes on.
  7. Thanks phillyguy and proffles... 3rd time is the charm, at least for me. I decided to call again after being denied twice and got a lovely agent who knew exactly what needed to be done in order to use my FCC. I wanted to make sure that I maintained the same stateroom for both cruises, no problem! Even got the new promo for all 4 FAS promos added. So now... bottom line, I have a B2B, total of 26 days booked for next April and owe just over $1300 USD. I am over the moon. Thanks so much for pushing me in the right direction... not an easy feat for sure, lol. Cheers 🥂
  8. Carnival owns a lot of cruise lines but not RCL or X (Celebrity) nor NCL Here's the list of CCL owned lines: AIDA COSTA P&O CUNARD PRINCESS HOLLAND AMERICA SEABOURN
  9. Anything which is closed is closed "indefinitely", including the borders between Canada and the USA. No cruises will be allowed to stop in Canada unless they are under 500 capacity and that may change as well. Unlikely Canada is going to change it's mind before May or even June, IMO.
  10. Hey, we'd all love to be cruising or nearly cruising... mine was booked for Mar. 29th.... let's not start scapping with each other. This is not something that we, nor the cruise line, not matter which one it is, has created. I'd love to be getting on my ship... NCL Dawn out of Tampa, on Sunday, however, due to circumstances out of my contol... and certainly out of the control of the cruise line... it is not happening, we will not see the wonderul departure of the Dawn... the glide under the Sunshine bridge... the beautiful sunset as we sail into and through Tampa Bay... out into the Gulf of Mexico... Reliving that transit is wonderful... but I miss it... Love Tampa Bay departure.
  11. I think Alaskan cruises will be out until there's a conscensus regarding the spread of Covid 19. No one would want Alaska, with it's wonderful wildlife, to be devistated by an uncontained virus.
  12. Well, it's a sales department of a cruise line which hopes to withstand this horrid and outrageouse and unpresendented event. IMO, it is unlikely that any cruise will be boarded prior to the advent of full eradication or fully vaccinated public. What that means to most is that there will be no cruises until the completion of the distribution of the Covid19 vaccination. I doubt this will be accomplished prior to April 2021.... but, who knows. Your pres. thinks it can be done by this easter.... lolol 😆 Good luck with that...
  13. My Future Cruise Credit states this: Your Peace of Mind Future Cruise Credit 3/16/2020 - 3/16/2021 I posted this yesterday: There is a pop up next to this title: Coupons can be applied to new reservations by selecting My Coupons and Credits as your payment type on the Cruise payment page. Coupons must be used in full and cannot be redeemed for less than their full value. So, it appears I won't be able to use the coupon to pay for my B2B already booked for Apr. 2021... sucks. Need to rethink this whole thing now. I actually tried to apply the FCC to a new booking next april and it wouldn't allow it.
  14. My FCC on my account states I must use it prior to 1year from the date I cancelled, so, Mar. 16th 2021, not Dec. 2022.
  15. Yeah, doesn't add up to much, does it?
  16. Yeah, exactly. I also think, limiting the use of the FCC to only 1 year is an insult and could easily have been extended to the end of 2021, at the very least. I think I'll probably be "eating" the 3K that I rec'd in the form of an FCC since I cancelled the cruise before NCL did. My bad, oh well, live n learn.
  17. I rec'd the same offer this morning. I have a few questions about it as well. I doubt that this horrid virus will be completely eradicated before my 2 cruises next April, (I'd need an exception made since my final date to use it March 16th 2021) nor do I believe they will have developed and manufactured a vaccine for this horrid virus, so, how can I be comfortable enough to book and pay for a cruise before middle of next year? I hope I'm wrong but.... So, what happens if we do use the FCC and that cruise gets cancelled as well? Do we keep the FCC or lose it? I know, talk about negative nellie but, this is a serious illness and seems to be getting worse all the time.
  18. Just to add to this info; the coupon is listed at the bottom of the page under "My Coupons and Credits" There is a pop up next to this title: Coupons can be applied to new reservations by selecting My Coupons and Credits as your payment type on the Cruise payment page. Coupons must be used in full and cannot be redeemed for less than their full value. So, it appears I won't be able to the coupon to pay for my B2B already booked for Apr. 2021... sucks. Need to rethink this whole thing now.
  19. I cancelled my Mar. 29th cruise on Mar. 13 and rec'd an email 2 days later with amount of the FCC. I haven't rec'd another email, however, I just logged into MyNCL and my "coupon" for the exact amount has been posted to my acc't. It must be used by 1 year from date of cancellation.
  20. I use this site: https://assistivesite.ncl.com/vacations Haven't had any issues with the regular site though.
  21. The FAS offers have been a constant for many years now. They change them up occasionally but not by much.
  22. How? Just wondering how they would create... and that is what would have to happen.. a better/tighter way of having a better virus control. This virus... a novel/new cornonavirus started months before it was assigned a name, months before it was really detected as a serious virus, many diagosis before it was thought to be serious to a specific group of people so, how do you think cruise lines, governments, countries... could better prepare for this huge PANDEMIC when it is so new> I am mystified by your thoughts that this could have been prevented... Please enlighten me.. and others
  23. I love cruising! I feel safe, I love meeting new people and enjoy the motion of the ocean. I'm in for the long run.
