  1. I had sb5186, port side, this past May and loved it. Quiet, and we are hooked on aft suites or balcony cabins. Longer walk to the Neptune lounge, Crows Nest, and Atrium than other Neptune suites, but closer to MDR and Lido. Would get that location again (actually we did on the Oosterdam for March 😁).
  2. Thanks, I normally definitely do try to reward those that make my cruise enjoyable, wasn't sure if there was a way to get that extra OBC to them. But if I can just increase it across the board I will, and give extra to those I wish.
  3. Glad I came across this thread! We have quite a bit of OBC for our next cruise and I was wondering how to do this on HAL. When you fill out the form, can you break the amount down among certain crew members (say room steward , waiter, bartender, etc)?
  4. Thanks for the heads up! Was able to add it to my February cruise with no change in price or loss of OBC.
  5. Following, we loved our cruise in May on the NA. Looks like you should have good weather this week, enjoy, and thank you for taking the time to do a live post.
  6. The Dive in is just outside the entrance of the lido on the pool deck and they serve burgers, hot dogs, and great fries. Open for extended lunch, hours are on the dailies I posted. They take your order, give you a beeper so you have time to grab a drink and find a table, normally 10 minutes or so for orders.
  7. Yes there was, but we missed it due to our traffic mess getting there. We did the Dive in by the pool, and while busy, easily found a seat and it wasn't a long wait. I too dislike any ship's lido on embarkation day !
  8. Yup, like food, highly subjective. We did not like the coffee in the MDR or Pinnacle grill at breakfast, strong, burnt, and usually not hot enough for us. We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam 2 weeks ago. We were in a suite so had access to the wonderful coffee machine in the Neptune lounge and a pod maker in our cabin. Explorations cafe could be your savior if you don't like the restaurant coffee. 😁
  9. You are welcome, enjoy your cruise, we had a great time and like that ship alot.
  10. Sunday, first sea day and Glacier Bay day. I posted a review on this board and also posted the dailies from the May 25 sailing if you want to take a look
  11. That is the bag I got 2 weeks ago on the Nieuw Amsterdam, was in a Neptune suite. Also no tiles given out at the Mariner luncheon but you could get them at guest services if you asked.
  12. I appreciate that HAL has continued with the voyage log. Any questions, please ask. Enjoy your cruise wherever it may be.
  13. Ketchikan dailies. Oops, forgot to say don't miss the chocolate surprise you chocoholics! It was Glacier Bay, gala evening for us, and is listed in the dailies.
  14. Agreed, only 2 cruises so far on her but contemplating a 3rd this winter! Glacier Bay dailies. Forget to mention earlier, the bow is open for viewing, weather permitting. It does get crowded and if you are vertically challenged like I am, hard to see if you don't have a spot on the railing. The Seaview pool area at the aft is another great place.
