And yet, you haven't.
Sorry? I'm not sure what you mean? I did delete it the way I know how. Edit and add a dot. Is there another way?

Respectfully, this is a HAL thread so not sure that previous experience on different line is relevant.
Current HAL policy allows for reasonable (actual # is subjective) amount of wine to be brought onboard in carry-on. While there is a stated corkage fee, it may or may not be collected.
I will delete my post.

Hello! I am looking at interior cabins and noted on the deck plans these ones appear to be larger then the usual square interiors on the plans. Anyone here stay in these types? Are they really any different?

I just logged into my account and all of my Latitude Rewards points are gone. My status says "first timer", which is incorrect. Anyone else have this happen to them?

This is why I won't get rid of my BMO Air Miles World Elite Mastercard. Trip can be paid in full or in part for the insurance.

So my experience was from 2016, no clue if it has changed at all.
We didn't have the UBP this time, so we went to Publix and bought eight bottles of wine. When we got to the port, after security, we were directed to a side table where a staff member tagged/numbered our bottles of wine and charged us $15US per bottle. That's it.
We would bring a bottle to dinner each night, no questions asked.

I always wonder at stuff like this. How much is a true reflection of probable action and how much is an attempt at developing an expectation in hopes of forcing an action.
Well, any progression we have had as a country is due to pressures. It isn't because the Govt wants us traveling again.

I found this article:
And then the tweet they reference:
English:
The Trudeau government will announce new border relief in the coming days We are talking about the end of the tests (PCR or antigenic) required to enter Canada. The entry into force is not determined, but it will be in the next few weeks #polcan

I have read about this happening several times but never to a non-US citizen, so until it actually happens, I guess we will never know. As the policy is stated, they would fly you to your local Canadian airport on a private plane and then provide transportation for you to get to your homeIsn’t that what I typed?

Celebrity lost his results and therefore paid for his extra days in the hotel, all food, new flight/cost difference, and new covid test.
He said that he booked his test at FLL that day, but with PCR they only guarantee results in 48 hours. He couldn’t book his flight until he had his results. And it was unlikely he would get a flight the same day he got his results back. So that is why he had to stay on FLL for extra days.
Makes perfect sense to me.

While ministers cease their normal day to day work and head out on the campaign trail once a writ is dropped, federal departments and agencies continue with their duties and responsibilities during the period of the election. There's no reason to believe that work on the vaccine passport and mixed doses issue didn't carry on apace. A change in government might have led to a halt, reassessment and possible scrapping of the work done to date, but yesterday's results will prevent such an eventuality.
I was being sarcastic.

I really dislike characterizing the decision to mix vaccine doses as a debacle. It is insulting of those that made the difficult decision and patently false.
Do you really think we would be better off today had we not taken the mixed dose route? Just look south of the border to see the results of lower vaccination rates.
Yikes. Sorry. Pretty much everyone here is complaining about this restricting their travel opportunities, which is why I called it a debacle.

Now that the election is over, I wonder how it will take the feds to get on this international vaccine passport and mixed doses debacle?

@lx200gps I believe they are doing it until Oct 31? Who knows if that will be extended or not once Nov 1 rolls around the CSO is over with.

I don't think actually flying people back to their home country would be part of any cruise lines current offerings for those who test positive post-cruise, though it would be wonderful if they did. If you had specific medevac coverage that included COVID (Medipac perhaps?), I wonder whether they would fly us home if we simply were positive but totally asymptomatic? Also unlikely?
Royal does do this. They have done it multiple times already and it is in their terms. They charter a private plane or jet and fly the infected people/party home to their airport, then arrange private transportation to their home. There have been documented accounts of this happening already. I think Celebrity has done it as well.
I haven’t read of any Canadian requiring this service yet (I doubt many are actually cruising right now).

Hopefully these lines extend their protocols for positive cases, whether it is paying for quarantine hotels and expense or flying the parties home via private transportation.

In NS we have these little paper cutouts from the CANImmunize website. I have also PDF’d the pages to my phone. Honestly, I could easily replicate these cards in Word LOL -

Interesting. So why no news on the Land Border? It would seem to me that if he's opening up to international visitors that maybe the Land border would open a bit sooner? Maybe they want to wait until tomorrow so as not to appear to be interfering with the election, one way or the other? Also interesting that it says you must be vaccinated to travel into the US. Not sure what vaccines they'll accept and does this mean no more antigen tests?
It says you still need to test three days prior to entry.

This is great news! As we have one person in our party with two different mRNA vaccines who is worried he might not be able to cruise.
However on Royal's website it still says they are not allowing people with mixed mRNA vaccines. Where are you reading that the mixed vaccines are accepted?

Good deals for regular Princess cruisers?
in Canadian Cruisers

A co-worker of mine sails HAL and gets really good deals on pricing. Does anyone sail Princess regularly and do they give good deals for loyalty? We are going to be cruising again soon and I would like to start on a line with hopes of better pricing over time.
