  1. Just a note of caution Eric, as I had a similar issue with Cunard a few weeks ago. My passport had approx 5.5 months of validity left on our return date so the online check in wouldn’t work. The countries we were visiting had no stipulated dates so was fine for them so I called Cunard. They checked and were adamant that their T&C state 6 months and there would no movement to this. I would think that P&O conditions are similar and if so I would advocate getting a new passport ASAP.
  2. Hattie, I’m currently on QE and there are bears in the bear store. I’m happy to get you one if that would be if any help. If so let me know and we can work out the logistics when we get home but as you are in the same part of the world to us it shouldn’t be too tricky. Sorry to hear about Mr HH and hope that things work out for you. C&M
  3. Can you share the details of who you used for this please LL?
  4. QE currently - masks must be worn inside except when eating or drinking. No sitting at the bar although it is rumoured that this may change. Covid cases have been high so this is enforced.
  5. Yes he is exlondoner, today we were in Haines so he saw some of his relatives!
  6. Cheers porsena, it saved me the trouble of struggling to upload my photos!
  7. Didn’t see any Ace, majority of cakes were decorated with red, white and blue. Tasted great though!
  8. Yes Coates, lots of staff left, mainly experienced ones to get Victoria up and running.
  9. Sorry to hear that Coates. Only 800 of us left onboard and we left Southampton with 1500!
  10. 3rd Gen approx 800 so the ship is very empty. Launderettes are closed, no deck games, no sequence dancing. Most other things are operating though.mask wearing is enforced except when eating or drinking.
  11. By 2.45 all tables were taken. Started serving early, at 2.50. By 3.00 the queue for a table was stretching outside the room. First course sandwiches. Second course savouries. Third course scones and cream. Fourth course, cakes. Plus copious cups of tea. A truly spectacular event and it was great to see the Queens Room with its buzz back. And numerous quests unable to move afterwards! Sadly no marmalade sandwiches though. I have some photos which I’ll endeavour to upload when I can.
