@Jim Avery .. can't wait to read your report on Explora and @commodoredave I'm getting ready to type my report on Emerald and I'll be posting here soon (just arrived home at 1am this morning so might be a day or two)

@Island2Dweller and @Corriegr thank you both so much. We will be landing on a BA flight from Dubrovnik which I am guessing will land at Terminal 5 and we depart the next day from Terminal 3 .. any recommendations welcome. Corridor - enjoy Anguilla - one of my favorite beaches in the world and thank you for taking the time to do a trip report while on holiday 🙂

@Corriegr - how was the Heathrow Thistle please .. we need a hotel for 1 night on the way home from Dubrovnik to Miami (via 1 night layover at Heathrow) - the prices seem good (is it really a standard hotel room with a private bathroom for only £75 😂) Currently we have booked the Crowne Plaza London Heathrow Terminal 4 for £150 but can cancel without penalty. Looking for something clean (and safe haha) Thank you for any advise

@uktog - if you haven't been to Huntes Gardens in Barbados it is a wonderful experience (as long as you are OK with stairs but you can go really slow and enjoy - most beautiful gardens and Anthony is a hoot .. make sure you have a rum punch) .. we go every time we are in barbados .. there and Lobster Alive which is also amazing (make a reservation)

Good evening, One of our stops is at Cayo Levantado and I see Explora offers a "beach excursion" to a resort for $360 per person (you get a drink and a sun bed for that cheap price 😂) so I am wondering is this an island where there is a "public beach" where we can just taxi/walk to or is it the resort through the ship or nothing?

@commodoredave thanks for the feedback. I have heard that about lack of shade but I guess Explora II has fixed that problem (may have to book one on II as well as I to see 😀)

Have a blast (nice itinerary but I'm sure you have been to all .. Anguilla one of my favorites) We are Miami to Miami in February but only a week and if you remember can you tell me where they anchor in Virgin Gorda please as we are trying to figure out if we have time to head to Saba Rock for a cocktail (OK more than 1 LOL) as we haven't been since they rebuilt after Irmaria and it is soooo different now by all of their photos - I just hope it hasn't lost it's uniqueness and would love to see Romaine (the bartender again)

@commodoredave .. how did you like Explora? We (as you know) are booked on Emerald in December and also booked Emerald Kaia for Africa and Seychelles in 2027 (there were only a few cabins left) but have booked Explora in February as the price was right (I'm not expecting SD but mainly food and cabins?) Thanks so much

@Jim Avery - when are you sailing? we booked Emerald in December and Explora in February (I know you too are a SeaDream fan and we are sailing on SDI for the Grand Prix as well) Let me know how you like Explora if you are sailing before February

We are booked for our first Explora cruise next February and thinking ahead and wondering what the onboard future cruise discount is if we book 1 (or 2) more while we are sailing (is it 10%?). My friend thought she read somewhere that they give you a code to book yourself and there is no desk? Any help is appreciated - thank you

Does anyone know if they have St. Germain onboard and if so if it top shelf "up-charge" or included please

Just off Sirena 2 days ago and yes they are small and the shower tiny and although I didn't find it dark I found the shower to be on the darker side compared to other ships. Hope this helps
